Knuckleball (Closed)

Bella woke up in the middle of the night. Carefully she got out of bed making sure she didn't wake him. She went downstairs and headed into the kitchen to get something to drink.

"This is your house, where would you go?" She asked "we shouldn't be fighting like this over our wedding. I need to go. I'm not sure we should have ever started this."

He felt her move in the middle night, but didn't think anything about it. Except he wondered if he had logged off the laptop he knew that he closed it. He was to tired to think about it thou.

"Don't say that look I don't want to fight like this either. I'll stay at a hotel if I have, too. Natasha please." His eyes pleading for her to stay and not leave him.

She just got a glass of water and sat on the couch, she noticed his laptop but figured it was best not to look. She didn't feel the need to pry into his life, she trusted him.

She shook her head "maybe we aren't meant to be together. It's just one night. I'll be back tomorrow. I just need time away from this to think about it..." She sighed walking to her car and getting in.

He stayed sleeping until he got up to use the restroom. He noticed she wasn't back yet probably just went to get a drink he thought. He then went back to bed laying in it waiting for her.

He ran to her window as she got in. "Natasha don't do anything crazy. Why last this long to just end right now. Go I'll see you tomorrow then. I love you." He said not wanting her to leave, but he had to show that he trusted her.

She had finished her drink but she had stayed downstairs knowing she wouldn't be able to fall back asleep and not wanting to bother him.

"I love you too." She said waiting until he stepped away from the car before she drove off. After a few minutes she realized she hadn't gotten any clothes but she didn't want to go back so she just kept driving.

He stayed awake as much as he could before falling back to sleep. He thought about why she hadn't come back to bed. She did say she was tired maybe she fell asleep on the couch again.

Anthony watched her car leave their home. He stayed in the empty garage for a few minutes until realizing she wasn't coming back until tomorrow. He went to his bed not changing only removing his shoes. Thinking why he couldn't treat her better.

Every time she closed her eyes all she could picture was the crash. She didn't want to remember it anymore, she just wanted to forget it ever happened.

Natasha stopped when she found a motel. She went inside and paid for the night before heading to her room. She sighed sitting down on the bed trying to figure out what to do.

He woke up again a few minutes later. She still hadn't been upstairs she must have fell asleep. He was cold even with a large blanket she must be freezing he thought. He got up with a blanket heading downstairs. "Bella...?" He said seeing her sitting in the dark with a little light emulating her figure.

He got up after sleeping for a hour probably from his body giving out. He got up to his nightstand opening the drawer. He looked below the handcuffs and condom boxes to a picture. It was one of them when they began "dating". He walked with it into the nursery. Picking up one of the things she had bought for the baby. Looking at both made him smile and tear up a little. He loved her and wanted to have a family with her.

"What are you doing awake?" She asked getting up and turning the light on "I hope I didn't wake you up. I'm just having trouble sleeping..."

What if they couldn't ever stop fighting. What if they hated each other after a while. What if he couldn't love her. She laid down feeing exhausted. She tiding know what to do.

He rubbed his blinded eyes from the shock of the sudden bright light. "No I just went to use the restroom. It's cold I thought you feel asleep so I came to give you a blanket." He said walking over to her handing her the blanket. "Are you alright?"

He knew that it wasn't going to easy or that it would be all happy times. Yet this isn't what he wanted to start the marriage with them being apart. It was late she probably would be sleeping. He decide calling her hoping she wouldn't anwser so he wouldn't have to talk to her, but only so he could leave a voicemail with his true feelings.

"I can't stop thinking about the car crash." She said taking the blanket "thank yo. I just don't know why it's bothering me so much but it does." She said as she say back down on the couch.

Natasha didn't pick up. She wasn't ready to talk. Trying to get comfortable she loads her eyes hoping that she would be able to fall asleep.

"I don't know what to say. Your welcome just get some sleep all right." He said. "Are you sleeping down here or are you going upstairs? I can sleep down here if you want."

He sighed with relief and a hint of disappointment as he got the voicemail. "Natasha I love you a lot. Your the only girl I can see marrying and I can't wait for our baby and wedding. This isn't a apology cause I don't deserve your forgiveness. I just want us to get along like the first time around. I'm actually looking at the picture right now on our third date. You looked so happy I just want that again. This is going to be difficult all I can say is I'll see you tomorrow." He hanged up hoping she would hear it.

"Just stay with me please? We can go back up." She sighed "I'm sorry. I just keep feeling scared all over again. I'll be fine..."

Natasha listened to the voicemail in the morning not sure how to feel. She couldn't just act like they didn't have any problems. Things weren't great between them. How could she put a child in the middle of al of this. It wouldn't be fair

"I will it's ok to feel that way. I'll carry you come on." He picked her up in the blanket turning the lights off beforehand. He was a little nervous that she began getting scared again. He carried her up putting her in the bed then going behind her holding onto her. "I love you. Go to sleep I'll be here if you get scared."

He woke up in the morning looking around the house in case she had come in the night. Once he knew she wasn't here he made himself a breakfast and sat on the couch. Waiting for her to come back all he was thinking about there relationship.

"What if I keep having nightmares." She said trying to get comfortable "I don't think I can sleep." She sighed.

Natasha left the motel and got in her car. She still wasn't sure what to do so she just got in her car and kept driving.

He put a pillow beneath her as he fixed himself for her to sleep well. "I'm going to stay here the whole night. Go to sleep I'll stay up if you have a nightmare I'll wake you up."

He checked his phone in case she had called or text nope she was still out. He laid on the couch with the T.V on as back noise waiting.

"You need to sleep. Don't worry about it, I don't want you to stay up for me." She said closing her eyes "You need your rest just as much as I do."

She drove for a few hours until finally stoping. She had no idea where she was, maybe she had gone to far. Looking at her phone she debated calling him.

"Goodnight. Love you." He stayed up until she fell asleep. It was still nice of her to think about him despite her being the one that suppose to be taken care of.

He looked at the time it was still early, but that didn't calm his nerves. He was starting to get a little nervous. Hoping she was ok or call at the very least.

Bella slept a few more hours before waking up again, this time she just laid there hoping that she would just be able to fall back asleep but she couldn't.

She finally decided to call him. "I'm lost..." She said when he answered not sure what else to say.

He slept comfortable for the next hours. As he didn't feel any movements from her. He did however scoot closer wrapping her around him.

Finally he said as she called him. "What do you mean your lost. Do you know what road your on?" He asked her putting on his clothes.

She sighed waiting for morning. She closed her eyes hoping to at least relax since she couldn't sleep.

"I don't know." She said getting out of the car and walking along the street trying to find a sign. When she found the street sight she read it back to him. "I don't know what to do..."

He woke up to in the morning seeing she slept. He decided to wake her with kisses on the cheek. "Good morning baby. Did you sleep well?" He asked her smiling.

"Go back to your car I know that rode. Wait for me there I'll come pick you up." He said still not hanging up, but heading to his car.

"Not really, but I'll be fine." She said "did you sleep well at least?" She turned to face him wrapping her arms around him.

"Okay, I'll wait here for you..." She said as she walked back to her car and got inside "I didn't know who else to call..."

"Yep I should have been awake to make sure you fell asleep." He said wrapping his arms around her hips basking in the moment. "It's nice waking up to you every day."

He began driving putting the phone on speaker. He didn't know what she meant by who else to call. Was that good or bad he thought. "It's fine I'm on way. So was I your only choice or your first choice?"

"No it's fine." She said "so what do you have to do today?" She asked moving closer to him "do you have a game? Or practice?"

"Can we please not do this right now. I'm sick of fighting. Can't you just let it go? It's nothing to worry about." She said "please I don't want to do this anymore."
