Lake Superior and such...

I was supposed to be somewhere else this weekend but that's a story best left where it ended. So, I escaped with some friends to their cabin on the shores of Lake Superior.

These pics were taken a month or so back but the views today were much the same. The differences? Colder, much much colder and the waves were much much bigger.



Sitting by the fireplace inside the cabin, can hear the waves as the crash against the rocks. Music is playing throughout the cabin and things are fine and mellow. Sweet Jane by Cowboy Junkies is playing and my friends are laughing their asses off in the kitchen. Life feels good for this moment.

Despite it being cold I cracked open the window because hearing waves from big water is too much of a treat to close out completely.

So. What's going on tonight? What are you doing? I think it's hysterically funny I'm doing what I usually do just not where I usually do it

Talk to me. Tell me whatcha wearin'? ha!

That sounds like a great weekend to me. I can only imagine how nice that the waves crashing, the cold crispness of the air. I would want some warm spiced cider, curled up under a blanket with the chill air coming inside. That sounds like you are going to have an absolutely special weekend.

I am relaxing and not doing a whole lot at the moment other than surfing through lit. It is chilly outside, though probably not as cold as you, and not much later. (My guess would be one hour Am in the Northeast, but unfortunately NOT on a lake.

Glad to know that you don't seem to mind the lowered fly that much, would be quite the coup to make an animating av that pulled up my fly, but I Think that might ruin a lot of it!

Well I did try to contct you and let you know how it went...but with no success....it was an awsome time. Had a blast with them.
