...it also ties in with my favorite era in "JLA" history, Morrison's "Mageddon" storyline.

Forgive me, rampant speculation. I often have trouble separating my memories from new notions, I think the word is cryptomnesia?

Anyway, it just seemed to me, having a Spirit of Vengeance on the roster would be good against The Scion of Hell? I dunno, kinda makes sense.

Ah! Okay, so not actually in the "Legion" storyline, just in your head. I thought I was losing what little sanity I had left...

Although, I suppose Rings have been awarded under stranger circumstances, and it's not like The Doctor's granddaughter doesn't run with that crowd.

(Some of my favorite scenes in this were the flashbacks we did with The Doctor and Liz in Lantern-construct armor, helping to set Allana on the path to join The Legion... those were awesome.)

I think he still at least has to get his heart finally completely broken over Raya-Sen (nee Raya Ro-Zan) first, then he can start thinking about dating.
