Five minute in, I'm getting douche chills

Edit: It was okay, but it didn't break any new ground. It was, pretty much, a retread of every other Star Trek movie.
The only thing that prevents me from hating it outright is the appearance by Leonard Nimoy (i.e. the real Spock), and the fact that Orci and Kurtzman wisely set this gen-y bullshit in an alternate universe, rather than ret-conning the canonical Star Trek universe, e.g. James Tiberius Kirk not being born in Iowa ect...
