Up, in the morning yesterday, then a double feature of Star Trek and Angels & Demons

Of all of them, I think Angels & Demons was the weakest, but you can only do so much with the material and when that material comes from Dan Brown...there's just not much to work with.

UP 3D it Sucked, we went for the 3D after seeing monsters vs aliens and i have to say that monsters rocked in comparison

Animal House ***

This was the first time that I've actually seen this film. I must admit that I was a little disappointed. It was funny. However, the way my classmates (who were all older than me) talked about this movie when I was a kid, I anticipated an onslaught of comedic genius that would lead to the inexorable loss of control of my bladder, at least. In retrospect, "Animal House" doesn't hold a candle to "Blazing Saddles."

The other day I watched The Uninvited. The plot was interesting & it had potential. It took me about 30 min. to get used to Elizabeth Banks being someone else besides Stinky Linky

Last night I watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It wasn't anywhere near as bad as some people said it was. Mila Kunis is ridiculousy gorgeous and I think I'm falling in love with Aldous Snow.

Up 3D - Funny, cute, another great Pixar film... HOWEVER... it was a waste of time and money to make it 3D this movie would have been just as good without it and it seems that this 3D fad is being well over used right now.

Personally speaking though, it made me a little depressed as I will never have someone to grow old with.

I saw it in standard 2d and didn't see anything that made it look like it should have been 3D at all. Nothing stood out.

That first 15-20 minutes is a tear jerker.

The International - Another solid Clive Owen film. A bit unbelievable, but the action scene at the Gugenhiem (sp?) is worth it alone.

Sicko only illustrates one small facet of the socio-political chasm separating the U.S. from Canada. I grew up on the U.S. Canadian border (in the 1970s), and when I say on the border, I mean that I could look out of my bedroom window and see downtown Windsor, Ontario. Whenever we'd cross into Ontario (which we did quite a lot as it is--or was pre-Bush--a very casual international border crossing) I remember thinking that it was like Dorothy Gale opening the door and seeing technicolor Oz. The subliminal omnipresence of U.S. racism suddenly wasn't there, and it sort of freaked me out. It was kind of like a buzzing that you aren't consciously aware of... until it suddenly stops.

Finally got around to watching the new Star Trek. Very fun, fast-paced action movie, with great SFX, decent acting, and a good dose of humour too.

Screw the nerds who complain about them changing stuff from the original - this is a FUN movie!

The Strangers - starring Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman. Its kinda freaky....but I kept yelling at the tv, they made every horror movie mistake...like splitting up to see who's outside, or not checking the locks on the door. I think its loosely based on a true story from 2005. It left me with a lot of questions

I saw that when it was in theaters and I agree. However I did enjoy when that guy got shot in the face and how they kept playing "Mama Tried". I had it stuck in my head for days.
