It was actually a lot better than I was dreading it was going to be. Near the end they seriously stretched the line of "probability" and the mocumentary feel lost the audience.
But, the actual "acted" parts were rather well done, and the links to Sumer and some of the artifacts recovered was interesting. I was worth a watch. Would I buy it, maybe not.
One thing that pissed me off to a huge extent and did ruin parts of the movie (for me anyway) - was something simple and it detracted from the movie by drawing attention away from what was happening on screen. When they do split screen shots between "archival footage" and the "re-enactments" - the black deviding line moves. Waves back and forth, shrinking one section and enlarging the other, for no apparent reason. In some scenes, it's barely noticable, in others, it's huge. Once you notice it though... that's all you'll stare at.... which is saying a lot, because Milla Jovovich is looking as amazing as ever.
Seriously, it's like "Street Fighter" was for the Street Fighter series of video games, without the charm and fun of Raul Julia or Jean Claude Van Dame.....
They ignored the main characters of the Game, elevated minor characters to "star" level and then had a plot that was beyond insane (that's saying something for a video game movie) that had me sitting there asking "WTF!?!?!?!?" for 90% of the movie.
Don't watch it... not worth it...
I want my hour and 45 minutes back....
My Love recommended this movie to me.
I'm ...um....currently undergoing various forms of ....um...training, shall I say.
*giggles*
It's not so much a movie as it is a documentary...but I would DEFINITELY recommend all women see this...
It'll teach you sooooo much about your ability to reach g-spot orgasms, and how to pleasure yourself and be pleasured.
It's Truly a wonderful and enjoyable learning experience.
excuse me now...
I 'm going to go practice....

Decent, but somewhat predictable supernatural thriller. Some good jump moments, some great support by the other actors. I felt, as always though, that Renee Zelwinger didn't really know where to go with the character. She was light and happy and bubbly then withdrawn and scared, there was no disbelief, there was no transition, just one, than the other.
I will say, Ian McShane and the little girl do an OUTSTANDING JOB. I wish there was more of Ian McShane, to be honnest.
Still, compared to the EPIC FAIL of the Last Exorcisim, decent halloween type movie to go see.
