Cocteau's version of Beauty and the Beast- a MUST see for devotees of French cinema and cinema itself. This is the classic version, the real deal. I'd see it again and again as there are multiple layers of meaning revealed each time one watches.

I saw it recently only on dvd, but I must say I didn't really enjoy it that much and I'm not certain watching it on blue ray would make a difference, but to each his own.
Last movie watched: Alice In Wonderland.

Last night for St Paddy's I watched Boondock Saints2. I loved the original, still deciding about the sequel. I liked it til the end.
Today, I saw Precious. This movie is very sad and a bit disturbing on some levels. The girl grows up being abused by her mother, both physically and mentally. Her father molests her, and she has two children by him, one of which has down syndrome. The father later dies of AIDS, which is passed to the daughter. Its a good movie, but if your looking for something "light" this isn't it. Its more along the lines of being a serious movie. Im going to get the book though.

It's funny as hell! It's from the same guys who did "Shawn of the Dead," and is just as good. Anita my friend, I highly recommend these movies
