They aren't going to abandon Obama any more than they admitted they made a mistake after the drubbing they just received in the election. They'll just change the message. Now that they have some Republicans in charge of something, they can get back to what they do best, tear down and blame their opposition and their myrmidons will eat it up and get all enthused again to go back and return Obama back to power so they can get Republicans out of the way of their entitled Obama Bucks and "free" health care...

Maybe so ...... but, according to the longtime Democratic Party insider, and former advisor to the Obama election campaign and transition team, there are a great number of main stream Democrats who are ready to force the Party back to the middle ground and old time standards.

Second, President Obama must fully engage himself with the requirements of the job. He must surround himself with people who understand the tone and temperament of the country because he clearly does not. And if he can’t or won’t do this, he needs to not run for reelection in 2012.

... but, if he does not fully engage in the job of president. If he does not even begin to live up to his own potential…Democrats must take measures to provide an alternative in 2012.

The country simply cannot afford another second Obama term like these first two years. It is simply too difficult a time for America to have the Democratic Party act so irresponsibly.



The party is already tearing apart thanks to the Obama White House and figures such as Nancy Pelosi. If we lose 2012, so be it. Let it be the beginning the party’s rebuilding. Just like the Republicans came back in 2010, we will be back also, and much stronger than we would be with a second Obama term that is as weak and confused as this first term has been so far.



First comes denial, then anger, and finally acceptance. Maybe I’m at the acceptance stage now. People in the party are talking, things are forming, I see a new and stronger direction for 2012 and beyond.

I'm threatening to run for office as a JFK Democrat. I think the cure is for a few Old Timers to jamb JFK up the Lefties butts.
