Keri grins as her head is kissed then opens her eyes and looks at Jen "You will have this again someday hon. I know you will find someone that is perfect for you."
Katelyn giggles softly as the top of her head is kissed.
Keri just smiles at Jen, waiting patiently for something to happen. She gives Katelyn's arm a pat and smiles at her then lays her head against a pillow.
Katelyn blushes a bit at Jen and looks up at the ceiling.
Jen went over and settled with Keri and Katie on the bed. "I never thought I'd feel such loss after everything I'd been through before I met Kristin." She kinda stopped there for a moment.
keri smiles as Jen approaches and settles on the bed. She places a hand on her shoulder and smiles softly "Yes, life sometimes throws us those curveballs. The trick is deciding what to do with them. We can let them throw us off course and strike us out so to speak or we can hit it and run, working on getting to our goals."
Jen nodded. "I supose I'm doing a bit of both on that I think I hit it foul." She giggled a bit. "I manage school cause I want to teach and have for a long time but I can't bring myself to go back into the gym."
Keri nods, and giggles a bit at Jen's response. "Well, you hit enough fouls you'll eventually get lucky and have a home run. You just have to be patient. I'm glad that you are able to deal with school, and I can understand the gym issue."
Keri nods her head slowly, looking down at her hands then trying to pull the sheet back up to cover her exposed chest, but failing because she can't reach it. "Yes, you think it was your fault."
Katelyn continues to listen quietly, not much knowing what to say at this moment.
Keri reaches over and grabs one of Jen's hands, holding it gently. "Just keep trying to get through this. You have to find healing or you will never be happy. I know it is a hard thing to come to terms with but you have to keep trying. Kristen would want you to be happy."
Katelyn wakes up as they talk once more and smiles. Listening quietly to the two of them talking.
Jen squeezed Keri's hand back. "I know Keri it just hasn't been that long so I'm not ready to move on yet not sure I ever will be. Kristen got me through some of the worst things in my life."
Keri nods "I can understand that totally. Juli got me through some of my worst times. I've known her since kindergarten. Moving on is hard, I remember when she was sent off to boarding school because of me...." Keri sighs a bit and looks over at Katelyn to make sure she is ok.
Katelyn smiles softly at Keri, unsure of what to say to either of them.
Jen held onto Keri's hand still. "I guess so I've known Kristen since I was little but she was always older but she took me in when I needed it most. Why did this happen why?"
Keri holds onto Jen's hand tightly, she watches her for a moment not sure of what to say right now. She looks around the room trying to find the words "Because, you were meant to do great things and she was the one person that would be the catalyst to get you moving and to help you find yourself, yet as long as she was here you were leaning on her. She had to go away so you could stand on your own"
Jen just looked at Keri a moment. "I hadn't thought it that way but I'm not ready to stand on my own." She wiped the tears from her eyes again. "I've been dealing with so many things Kristen was what kept me grounded."
