Leather and Lace

Kallie started over to Katelyn know seeing her want to give up. She barely made it over there before the sword was picked up and put on Katelyn's neck. She closed her eyes and hoped Katelyn could get in a good shot to Krystall then she could act.

Juli moved foward herself but stopped upon seeing the sword. She hoped this wouldn't come out this way.

Keri breathes deeply and grabs the blade of the sword, pulling it up and wincing as her hand is cut through the towel, in an act of desperation she pushes the sword back into Krystall, the butt of it ramming her in the stomach and puts herself between Krystall and Katelyn. "I'm not letting you kill this one, I know the truth now. Your pet before me died because of how you treated her. She was not murdered by an intruder it was you." She waits, watching, unsure of what to do.

Krystall coughs and groans as the sword is forced into her stomach, knocking her breath out of her for a moment. She watches Keri for a moment "So my little detective found me out? No wonder your a cop." She laughs and looks around for Lesette whom has now disappeared. "Lesette? We've been found out...." She looks back at Keri and charges forward with the sword

Kallie couldn't move when Krystall went after Keri she was just frozen.

Juli moved quick and fast once Krystall went after Keri. Since Krystall was facing away from her she hit Krystall over the head with her toy bag.

Kallie finally moved and joined with smashing the toy bag over Krystall's head.

Keri smiles brightly as Krystall comes after her, liking this so called game of cat and mouse that she is now playing. She laughs as Juli and Kallie start attacking Krystall with the toy bag, though it does not seem to slow her down any. Keri moves out of the way as the sword is once again slammed into the wall, she grabs the blade and twists it, breaking both the radius and ulna in Krystall's arms with a loud crack.

Krystall shrieks as she is attacked with the toy bags, she doesn't let it distract her, she yells obscenities and continues her charge. She curses as she hits the wall. A blood curdling scream comes from herl lips as her arm is broken and she sinks to her knees.

Keri whom is now running on endorphins and adrenaline scoops Katelyn up into her arms, she quickly removes her collar and throws it Krystall then makes a dash for the door yelling "Yep, I'm a cop.. Mess with me and I will see you fry for that other girl"

Kallie kicked Krystall a few times for good measure before she exited the room before she left she turned. "You mess with her again you die."

Juli followed them out and found the owner. "You may want to call the emt's it seems Krystall had a little accident. Oh and Lisette should be prohibited from this place for a while and Krystall expelled permently this is the third sub she has abused."

The owner just nodded. "I shall oh and Katelyn's trunk is in my office."

Keri holds Katelyn gently in her arms, though this is becoming a burden as she hurries out Kallie's car, she pulls the handle and thankfully in their hurry it was left unlocked. She sets Katelyn down in the back seat and gets into the driver's seat, knowing that Kallie will want to be with Katelyn even though she is out cold.

Krystall doesn't even bother to move, several of her ribs are broken from Kallie's boots and she is afraid of being attacked again. She picks up the collar however and yells "I will get you for this Keri"

Kallie stopped with Juli and got Katelyn's trunk the carried it out to her car and put it in the trunk. Kallie climbed into the backseat with Katelyn. "Thank you both. I think the hospital she needs taken care of so does your hand Keri."

Juli rests a hand on Keri's thigh. "You amazed me and Krystall is going to try to get you if she can so we must be careful."

Keri nods and smiles at Juli, pressing her thigh up into her hand "Thank you, I just hope it was not too much for you to see." With that she puts the large blue luxury vehicle in gear then sets off for the hospital, she watches Kallie and Katelyn closely in the rear view mirror as they drive down the streets of San Francisco in search of a hospital. She thinks hard, trying to concoct a story then gets an idea. She turns sharply and pulls up in front of Juli's home, she runs to her car and gets out her police uniform, changing into it quickly there in the driveway and not really caring if anyone sees. She grins at all in the car then hops back and literally speeds to the hospital. She pulls up in the emergency room circle and flashes her badge, waiting for an orderly to bring a stretcher and pick the girl up. She looks at the orderly sternly "No matter what happens, this woman" she points to Kallie "Is allowed to be in the room"

Juli just watches Keri and smiles. "It was fine Keri I knew you were going to do that anyways. "


Kallie went with the attendents as they put Katelyn on the strecher. She followed them in not wanting to leave Katelyn if she happened to come to. They started firing off questions to her. "She was abused by her Mistress beaten badly, burned, and tonight electric was used on her."


Juli follwed them in. "You need your hand looked at Keri."

Keri smiles a bit shyly, this being the first time that Juli has seen the aggressive side of her. She turns to watch Kallie as she follows the atendants, knowing that she is going to get a million questions and a lot of stares on what she is going to tell them. She shakes her head and follows Juli, looking dow at the blood soaked towel then grins "I'll be fine love, all in a day's play" she says, avoiding being seen like the plague.

Kallie just stood back and let them work on Katelyn. "Her name please?" Kallie just kinda started at them a moment. "Katelyn I don't know her last name."


Juli looked at Keri long and hard. "You will get your hand looked at."

Keri looks up at Juli and sighs, her chest heaving as she does so. She leans against the wall and sinks a little. "You know I hate this place with what I have been through, besides, I can't afford to miss much more work."

Juli smiled at Keri. "I know love I know but you need to have it looked at."

Juli called over a doctor and they took Keri into a room and she took the towel off her hand revealing a deep cut on her palm. "You'll need more stitches Keri but that won't keep you out of work."

Juli smiled. "I can stitch her up if you'd like she might take it better. I have privilages here just haven't used them in some time. I've been working at the clinic."

The doctor nodded. "Fine Dr. Stevens I thought you looked familar. I don't think I need to write up a prescrpition either you already have one right Keri?"

Keri sighs, a sound on the verge of a whine as the same doctor approaches, she blushes brightly and is thankful they came up with a good coverup for what had happened as far as work goes. She winces as the towel is taking off her hand and sighs at the word stitches, her body stiffening as she thinks about the large needle, her fear of needles and blades etched deep into her psyche. She watches and listens, a bit thankful that Juli can take care of this yet very scared and nervous all the same. She shakes her head to clear the fog from it as she hears her name "um ya fine thank you." She pauses a moment not sure if that was the right answer or not but covers up well. "How's my girl? Is she... umm ok?"

Juli smiled at Keri. "It will be okay Keri you won't feel a thing."
She looked to the doctor wanting an answer as well.

They heard the doctor say. "She's critical they are trying to stablize her right know."


Kallie just watched them work on Katelyn trying to stablize her as her systems kept crashing. She wiped the tears from her eyes as she watched. Her mind sending off vibes -No Katelyn you have to fight you can't let Krystall win. We have to have a chance if you don't fight we won't have that.-

Keri just watches Juli for a moment, not saying a word as her hands start to tremble. She looks back at the doctor and her heart sinks a bit, her head dropping in shame as she listens to him.

Katelyn's heart beat starts to come back, but it's very weak. She moves her right hand a little and mutters something inaudible. Then her heart starts to slow back down, barely beating, but at least it is beating.

Juli patted Keri's shoulder. "There wasn't much else we could do love. She had to want to leave. I'm going to stitch up the hand know." Juli started to stitch the gash on Keri's hand she went slow but was efficent. She but onintment and a bandage on the hand. "All done."

Kallie looked at Katelyn and knew she was stablizing. She continued with her thoughts. -That's it Katelyn fight for yourself. You are worth it you and I deserve the chance if you can pull out of this.-

Juli closes her yes and breathes deeply, seeking out the sub space she knew so well, and paying attention only to Juli's voice. When she says she is done she opens her eyes. "That not right and you know it" she says angrily. "I should have told the Chief when I was confronted at the hospital, but I was ashamed. This would have never happened and I am wrong for it."

Katelyn's heartbeat remains very slow but steady, her body weak and cold. She hears Kallie and tries to move a hand, her lips moving a little.

Juli looked at Keri straight in the eye. "Even if you did that it wouldn't have been in time to save the girl the pain she already suffered. You will have to tell the Chief know though because Krystall will be gunning for you."

Kallie waited until the nurses and doctors had moved. She went to the bed and held onto Katelyn's hand. -Rest know we will talk later you need to rest and heal.-

Keri watches Juli, still very angry at herself. She slams her hand down on the stitching table and winces with pain. "No.. Katelyn was there for a week. I should have done something. We were together for a whole week Juli. We shared that stupid dog bed and were forced to eat off the same plate. It IS MY fault." She gets up and paces angrily "I don't care if she is gunning for me. That's MY girl, I trained her and if she dies so does Krystall."

Katelyn's eyes flutter open as she feels Kallie's warm hand, thoughts coming to her mind, the intuition of what Kallie is thinking. Tears begin to roll down her pale cheeks.

Juli pulls Keri close to her. "Keri love you can't go back and change it. We have to get Katelyn to fight for herself because if she was there after you left Krystall will have told her she is worthless and all that other crap. She won't want to fight for herself."

Kallie just held onto Katelyn's hand. She leaned down and kissed the tears that were falling from Katelyn's eyes. "Rest Katelyn rest and get strong." She said softly.

Keri sighs and lets Juli pull her close, she finally gives up and snuggles up against her, her hand now throbbing from her outburst of anger. She sits silently for a long time "She will fight, she has Kallie....." she blinks and looks around, her hand going instinctively to the gun in it's holster as she hears a familiar voice.

Katelyn's eyes flutter back closed as her tears are kissed, her heart beat growing slightly stronger as she drifts off into a deep sleep.

Juli held Keri close to her. She tensed herself hearing that voice. "Keri stay with me right here."


Kallie continued to hold Katelyn's hand. She was pouring her own strenght into Katelyn. She sat on the chair that was brought for her.

Keri ignores Juli, her hand slowly pulling the gun from it's holster as she tries to pull away from Juli, nothing else in her mind except this rage against Krystall.

Katelyn remains still, unaware of anything except the warmth she is feeling.

Juli held onto Keri tight. "No Keri. You don't have cause right know I can't lose you again and you'd go to jail."

Kallie continued to hold onto Katelyn's hand tightly her own eyes shutting as she willed her strength to Katelyn.
