Keri breathes heavily then turns her head quickly and looks at Juli at the word again. She sighs softly, remembering the day that Juli was sent away to boarding school after her father caught them kissing in her room. "No love, you won't lose me again. I'm sorry."

Katelyn awakens for a moment, blinking to clear her eyes. She looks around the room incoherently, trying to figure out where she is. She struggles to stay awake but can't and drifts back off to sleep

Juli held onto Keri tightly remembering that day herself. "It's okay love." She wished that she had come back here for college then maybe she'd have spared her Keri Krystall.


Kallie kept hold of Katelyn's hand tightly her thoughts went to Katelyn. -Rest and heal Katelyn your body needs that noone will hurt you again.-

Keri sighs and snuggles against Juli, glad that they are back together again even if it meant that she had to face Krystall's torture, it was all worth it to her. She yawns and leans her face forward to kiss Juli softly.

Katelyn sleeps soundly now, her body relaxed and her mind calm.

Juli held onto Keri tightly and kissed her softly. "Going through what you did was not worth it even if we are together again. Nothing is worth going through that."


Kallie drifted off to sleep herself her hand not letting go of Katelyn's though refusing to break that link.

Keri kisses Juli back softly "It was to me love... It was to me..." she says as her eyelids grow heavy.

Katelyn's mind wanders endless as she falls into a sleepy abyss, her body growing comatose.

Juli held onto Keri tightly. "If you say so. Just rest."


Kallie woke up and she knew Katelyn was comatose. She let go of Katelyn's hand to see what would happen.

Keri yawns again "Yes love" her eyes finally closing as she falls asleep in Juli's arms.

Katelyn's breathing grows more shallow and her heart starts to slow once more as her hand is released, the warm touch being the only hope that her now fraile mind has of surviving.

Juli held onto Keri tightly as she drifted off to sleep finally.


Kallie quickly grabbed Katelyn's hand again noticing her breathing go shallow. -Little one fight for yourself.-

Keri slept fitfully, talking in her sleep throughout the night.

Katelyn's breathing picked up a bit, stabilizing more. Her body strains, her ears feeling deaf as she fights hard to gain conciousness.

Juli held onto Keri tightly all through the night as she slept fitfully and talked through the night. "It's okay my sweet love."

Kallie held on tightly to Katelyn's hand. -Don't fight the sleep off your body needs that and you will return to consciousness when your ready too.-

Keri hears yelling and her eyes fly open. She notices that Juli is asleep and slips from her embrace quietly. Her uniform but hair is still pulled tightly behind her head and her hat is straight. She walks quietly down the hall of the ER and looks around to see what the disturbance is and notices Krystall. Her body grows rigid and her knees begin to shake, she stands in the doorway torn between turning and staying, her hand on her gun.

Katelyn struggles a bit more, straining to hear anything... Anything at all. She squeezes Kallie's hand gently, continuing to fight.

Juli jerked awake when Keri was out of her arms. She sighed and followed. "No Keri." She put her hand on Keri's gun arm.


Kallie squeezed Katelyn's hand softly and decided to speak to her. "Katelyn it will be okay your safe no one will hurt you again."

Keri turns her head and looks at Juli, her face red with anger but her whole body shaking with fear. She looks into Juli's, her own filling with tears, but her hand not moving.

Katelyn breaths in deeply, finally letting go at Kallie's words and drifting off to sleep.

 

[JenJ]

Juli keeps her arm on Keri's gun arm and moves between Keri and Krystall. She wipes the tears from Keri's eyes. "No killing her would be to easy she deserves to rot in jail."

Kallie continued to hold Katelyn's hand wishing she had Kristen here to draw strength from. She ponders if maybe Jen would come.

Keri takes in a shaky breath as Juli moves in front of her. She closes her eyes as Juli wipes the tears away and collapses against her, wrapping her arms around her tightly. "Please take me to see my girl"

Katelyn has slipped back fully into a coma, her body fighting to heal and reduce the swelling in her brain and heart.

Juli wrapped her arms around Keri supporting her. "Okay love." She helped Keri into Katelyn's room.


Kallie held tightly onto Katelyn's hand. "Katelyn don't fight yourself on healing you need to heal."

Keri watches Katelyn and Kallie quietly from the doorway, tears in her eyes. Her body hardly straight at the moment, her freshly unstitched wounds aching from the fight earlier in the night. She makes her way over the bed with Juli's help then looks down at Kallie "Take care of yourself for a bit please. I will sit with her for a moment." Keri runs her unbandaged hand over Katelyn's face gently as she watches the monitors.

Juli helped Keri and knew she really needed rest but just supported her.

Kallie continued to hold Katelyn's hand. "I'd rather not move." She pointed to her hand linking Katelyn's. "When ever I let go her vitals take a dive."

Keri looks at Kallie helplessly, her eyes pleading and full of tears. "I will hold her hand, she's like my little sister I think I have enough bond with her for her to be ok." She looks up at Juli, her shoulders sagging. "Please... call in for me? I can't work today and I am due on at 6:30"

 

[JenJ]

Juli nodded and left to make that call.

Kallie released Katelyn's hand slowly waiting for Keri to take hold before she released contact all together. "I'll be back in a few mintues."

Keri takes hold of Katelyn's hand and slips into the chair. Studying her pale hand for a moment as she holds it. She scoots the chair forward and brushes Katelyn's hair out of her face with her left hand and speaks softly to her. "Katelyn, my lil sis, this is Keri. I'm sorry about leaving you, I wanted you to come with me. I remember when you first came to us, you were so scared and I held you in my arms at night till you slept. I am so sorry. I hope you can forgive me." She slumps forward, tears dripping onto her pants.

Kallie placed a quick call getting a machine. "Lil sis can you come visit me soon I miss you."

Kallie walked back into the room that was Katelyn's and heard what Keri was saying. She walked up behind Keri and put her hands on Keri's shoulders. She whispered in Keri's ear. "She had to want to go too."

Keri jumps as she feels the hands on her shoulders, but she doesn't look up, not wanting Kallie to see her pain at this very moment. She closes her eyes as Kallie whispers and leans into her hands gently. She squeezes Katelyn's hand gently and runs her other hand over her face very softly, not wanting to move from the touch on her shoulders just yet.

Kallie just rested her hands on Keri's shoulders and looked at Katelyn.

Juli walked back into the room and knelt by Keri she saw the pain on Keri's face and just put her hand on Keri's thigh softly.

Keri takes a deep breath and tries to calm herself. She rises from the chair and waits for Kallie to take Katelyn's hand then strips off her shirt, leaving the undershit beneath it and tossing off her hat. "I'll be back soon." She says and leaves the room abruptly.
