Leather and Lace

Kallie took Katelyn's hand again and sat in the chair. "Rest well sweet Katelyn."

Juli followed Keri out. "Keri love?"

Keri fights hard not to ignore Juli when she hears her, she turns around, her boots clicking as she does so. She struggles to retain her composure as she watches Juli. "Yes love?" she says as she looks at her reflection in one of the large windows, she is a striking woman, soft butch with long curly hair, dressed in issued boots, blue uniform pants and an undershirt, her muscular arms revealed fully. She's not your typical sub, and despite being a cop she is a very gentle soul.

Juli pulled Keri back against her holding her tightly. "I love you and I'm glad that we have found one another again. I just wish that I'd have spared you the pain you've been through."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri leans into Juli, just letting her hold her tightly. She reaches back and pulls the band out of her hair, letting it fall down around her shoulders and sighs. "I love you too Juli. It's ok, being with her so long is part of what made me the woman that I am. I understand you feeling that though because I feel that with Katelyn, I just wish she would have come with me." She sniffs a little bit, her eyes tearing up.

 

[JenJ]

Juli held onto Keri tightly. "My sweet love you'd have not left if I hadn't seen how you were treated and my best guess is that Katelyn didn't have anywhere to go nor did I realize she'd been there with you or I'd have stopped it the first night."

Kallie watched Katelyn sleep smiling a little bit.

Keri clings to Juli tightly "If you had not shown up at the dungeon that night I doubt I would be alive, considering she found a new toy in Katelyn. I would have been discarded like the one before me. " She pauses a brief moment to take a breath then looks into Juli's eyes. "I wouldn't have left had you not found me. I've not let anyone into my heart since you and when I saw you the Saturday prior to my "accident" at the dungeon I knew I had to go back. I was scared because I knew Krystall would go too far but I had to see you again. I soaked my body in a tub of ice water for an hour before I met with Krystall at the dungeon that night, I knew she would be doing razor play and I figured it might keep me from bleeding to death. Katelyn had been there exactly a week and was not allowed to leave the house so she helped me. In return I tried to line up some jobs for her, I told her that one job paid ahead of time and gave a couple hundred dollars out of my paycheck. I thought if she was going to run that she needed money."

Katelyn's hand twitches just a little inside of Kallie's then stills. Her body fighting off infection that had set into the many cuts and burns, her temperature spiking to 105.

Juli held onto Keri tightly. "She probably didn't know that Krystall would continuely take things too far it was just the begining for her. You know I almost didn't return to the dungeon but Kallie told me I'd better."


Kallie held onto Katelyn's hand and felt her head. She buzzed for a nurse. "Her temp is rising."

The nurse checked it and pushed some meds. "Here wipe her forehead with this."

Kallie took the cool rag and started to wipe Katelyn's forehead.

Keri sighed "Fate brought us together. We were always meant to be together, since we met in kindergarten. I should have known you would be back in my life." She turns her head at a sound and gasps as she sees Krystall walking toward her.

 

[JenJ]

Juli smiled at that memory. "I know my love." She turned at the gasp and stepped between Krystall and Keri.

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri swallows hard and scowls as Juli steps in between them. She walks to the nurses station and takes off her gun belt, handing it to a nurse. She walks up alongside Juli and crosses her arms "Your not going down that hall." She heard the buzzer for Katelyn's room and sighs wanting to be there but knowing she needs to be out in the hall right now. She frowns but remains still.

Juli relaxed considerably once Keri handed her gun belt to the nurse. She still stayed right by Keri's side but didn't say anything.


Kallie conitued to wipe over Katelyn's forehead with the cool rag hoping that Katelyn's fever would break.

Krystall puts her hands on her hips "So you want trouble? I'll give you trouble after what you caused, I'm sure I have been banned from the dungeon."

Keri listens with crossed arms, not backing down a bit. "You underestimate me Krystall. What do you think they taught me in my police training? I'm not backing down and you are not going near MY girl. You put her as my responsibility and for now she is just that. It's my fault for not getting her out. But now, if she survives you will never get near her."

Katelyn's body trembles a bit, as cold chills over take it with the fever.

Juli just stood there not saying anything she wanted to let Keri handle this as much as possible.


Kallie noticed the chills set in and pressed the buzzer again.

The nurse came in. "Stop wiping. She has an infection and the fever isn't helping things. There isn't much we can do except wait it out."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Krystall steps forward and tries to push her way past. Keri pushes her back "Sit your ass down get out now! I am technically on duty right now until the chief comes on in an hour. Don't make me arrest you." With that she grabs Juli's hand and goes into Katelyn's room. Sighing as she listens to the nurse and moving up alongside Kallie, placing a hand on her shoulder.

Krystall walks down the hall and looks in, watching the 3 women huddled around and debating on going in.

Kallie leaned into the hand on her shoulder. She looked at the door. "Get out of here know you aren't wanted here so help me if you step in here I won't be held responsible for my actions."

Juli glanced up but didn't say a thing Kallie said it all.

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri turns her head and looks then heads toward the door. "You heard her, get out of here." She pushes Krystall out and walks to the nurses station, putting her gun belt back on and grabbing her cuffs. "I'll escort you to your car then you leave." They walk out the door and toward Krystall's car, suddenly Keri feels as though she has been blinded and everything goes black.

Juli grew concerened and followed Keri and Krystall outside. She saw Keri on the ground she looked around to make sure she wouldn't be ambushed. "Keri love."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri doesn't respond to her name being called. She is unconcious and several of the wounds on her stomach and chest have come open. Her gun is in her hand and there is a trail of blood. Evidently she knew something was going to happen and shot as she was ambushed. Her bullet hit someone somewhere.

 

[JenJ]

Juli checked Keri's pulse. She ran back inside. "We need a gurney outside know possible gunshot wound not sure though."

Juli also called into the station. "Keri fired her weapon before she got knocked out she's being looked at know she opened her wounds again."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri's right temple is bleeding and of course her wounds are, but upon further inspection the blood stops suddenly where Krystall's car was parked, someone was shot, more than likely Lesette. Keri's breathing is a bit shallow but other than that it seems she is just out cold from a blow to the head.

 

[JenJ]

Juli applies pressure to Keri's head wound as she takes in the other injuries. "I need some help stopping her bleeding."

The other doctor comes over. "She opened her wounds again and the stitches just came out. We are going to have to restitch them."

Juli nodded. "Okay if you'd check the head wound please."

The doctor took a peak. "Not a big gash so some butterfly's will do she'll probably have a concusion."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri's bleeding to her head stops, but not her chest and abdomen. Her bandaged hand is fine however. Her handcuffs are laying under her as she is moved.

 

[JenJ]

Juli looked at the wounds on Keri's abdomen and chest and started stitching them up again. She moved the handcuffs. "Keri love you'll be fine."

Kallie continued to hold onto Katelyn's hand gently.

Keri starts to come around a bit, groaning and squirming as she feels the pain in her stomach and chest. She moves her lips but the words don't quite come out yet. Her body tenses up as she fights to come to at her love's words.

 

[JenJ]

Juli finishes the stitches and just holds onto Keri's hand waiting for her to come too. "Keri love that's it come back slowly your going to hurt you got knocked out."
