Leather and Lace

Jen listened to the surgeon and looked at Keri knowing this is what Katie wanted. "Are you sure you don't want yours done too?"

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri shudders at Jen's question "Oh, I'm quite sure. I know someone that will turn into a game if you catch my drift"

 

[JenJ]

Jen looked at Keri again. "Okay."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri watches the surgeon take Katelyn away then looks back at Jen "I don't like hospitals or doctors because Krystall had a thing for medical scenes"

 

[JenJ]

Jen gave Keri a gentle hug. "I can understand that. We will be out of here soon Keri and you are safe no one can hurt you."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri rests her head against Jen's shoulder, and listens to her, remaining quiet though. She glances over where Katie's bed should be and sighs.

 

[JenJ]

Jen holds onto Keri gently. "You are loved and safe."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri looks at Jen curiously wondering where that came from, she shrugs and hugs Jen back, enjoying the closeness of their bodies and the sense of safety it gives her.

 

[JenJ]

Jen sighed a bit. "The senosary memory flashes are the worst."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri nods slowly and holds Jen "Yes they are, I agree totally. That's why my eyes are staying wide open for the moment"

 

[JenJ]

Jen nodded. "That's why I didn't go back to sleep after you woke me the second time."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri nods "I figured as much" she looks around the room, really unsure of what to say now. A bit of akwardness forming on her end of things.

 

[JenJ]

Jen looked at Keri. "Are you going to be okay?"

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri nods "Yes, I'm just concerned about what will happen next. I don't much care about myself but Katelyn.... They are still out there."

 

[JenJ]

Jen looked at Keri. "Then we need to figure out how to get them."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri nods in agreement and tries to relax hoping that it will make her pain levels go down, her poor head throbbing once more.

 

[JenJ]

Jen started to rub over Keri's temples softly. She reaches over and looks at Keri's iv and presses a button on it uping the pain med part just enough to take the edge off the pain.

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri leans into Jen's rubbing, she watches as she ups the pain meds and looks at Jen quizically for a moment then relief crosses her face as the meds slowly start to go to work

 

[JenJ]

Jen continues to rub over Keri's temples softly. "Just relax."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri sighs and finally starts to let herself relax, all she wants right now is to be away from the hospital, she can have the pain meds and such at home because of Juli and she just wants out of there.

 

[JenJ]

Jen just continued to rub Keri's temples. "Once you are cleared we will be out of here."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri drifts off to sleep as Jen rubs her temples, her body a bit slumped and she awakens to a searing pain from this position. She glances around the room startled then sighs in relief as she sees Katelyn there, slowly waking up.

katelyn opens her eyes and looks around groggily. She winces a bit a the slight burning pain in her shoulder.

Jen slipped from the bed and hit the switch on Katie's iv to give her some pain meds. She pressed the call button for the nurse. "Could you get the Doctors they'd like to go home if they get cleared. Dr. Steven's cleared it."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri watches Jen and smiles, though a troubled looks starts to cross her face and she lays down quickly with her head facing away from Jen. She's almost worried that something else is wrong with this much pain.

Katelyn smiles "Oh... home...." she giggles a bit knowing that made no sense

 

[JenJ]

Jen looks at Keri a moment. "There has to something else wrong with you Keri."

Jen called the clinic. "Juli if you can you need to come back. I think there is something wrong with Keri."
