Apathy seems to be a lot of people's answer. I was once like you - I gave a damn. It gets you nowhere for the most part unless you're willing to risk everything for your cause.

So now I'm a grouchy cynic, like so many people. It isn't just me who's decided that not giving a damn is the way to go. Frankly, the whole who's-raping-whom thing is just...well, the reason I can't be bothered to get worked up about it is because people can't help their own cause and people value their bread and circuses more than they do justice or keeping people safe.
