Ange, thank you. I know how badly I hurt you. I'm truly sorry. Thanks for the hugs, though. I know you mean it.

and Champ:)

You knew I hate clowns, didn't you, just like Sis :D

and I saw the postings about the disco poems, well, I too wrote one for that challenge, albeit, without zombies, and I cannot find it anyway. But I know I wrote one... or maybe Maria did.

:rose:

I know you don't believe me when I tell you I was over that pretty much as soon as it happened, but I really was. :)

Anyway you're like family. Families have their ups and downs, but they stick together. My blood family didn't do that either, not really, but my poet family does.

Awww. Ange you put things so well - Poet Family - yeah, I like that.

A great big family full of all of the disfunctiuonal drama of a normal family, but with everyone having the soul (if not the talent) of a poet.

What otherwise would just be a conglomeration of fuck-ups, miscreants and bitches really is greater than the whole of it's parts. Too cool. Thanks brother and sister fucked-up bitches and miscreants - love ya all.

P.S. NJ = Stick around chickie. I need to get to know my Sis better. (Besides, where else can you be in the company of at least three other people who write poetry about fucking disco zombies!)

NJ is a lot of fun and a beautiful soul and is a very talented poet, too.

And I have written poems about all kinds of crazy shit. I wrote a poem about the Pillsbury doughboy, too. And I can tell you that every really weird poem I've ever written here is because of Eve. That woman can talk me into anything! Scary but true. :D

Yes, I included suicides...unfortunately, 4 of them were.

And about you Papa, I'm so sorry in a sort of clannish way, that did make me feel better about it all, sorry you had to live through any of that freaking horror type stuff.

No sweat, darlin. I didn't really have to live through too much of it. Dad was in the army, so I was only there for the summers. He mostly kept it down when I was visitng. The worst stuff happened before my dad joined the army, and I was kept away from the rest. It was mostly just walking on eggshells around him, because you never knew when he was going to get angry.

You mentioned, NC, and as it turns out, I too, am peeling NC onions ;).

Something about that area. My grandfather was a moonshiner too, and my dad and uncle ran the shine for him.

Thank you for your note here

Eminently welcome.

PS., here is the link to the religion quiz-

Thank you.

I'm kinda boggled by this list. Knowing my answers, Secular Humanism should be #1, and both forms of buddhism should be higher on the list, as should taoism. I find it very, very weird.

Welcome home Julie and hugs from me what is it they say? families are like fudge mostly sweet but with a few nuts ..... and I am the nutty one. Parents can make for a lot of hurting that never goes away. Hey look at me really ancient and still fecked!

I used to live in Quaker territory. My editor/mentor was a Quaker. I almost sent my kids to Quaker schools; they're great schools. And just about every Jew I know in a mixed marriage called themself a Unitarian. I see that those Jehova's Wittnesses better take their Watchtowers elsewhere though.

I've got all sorts of crazy ideas floating round my head now from peaches like bottoms to laying down of wine

But I'm more of a Jew than you are. Just as I suspected!

When I was answering those questions I made a concious decision not to weight my answers. I think that's why I have such a large gap between the 100% uu views and the buddhist ones. I'm thinking I'm a bit more zen than I let on.

Oh Shit! My score is almost identical to Champ's and real close to NJ & Ange. [quickly dropping to my knees]

Please God (in what ever flavor you come in) strike me down with lighting bolts before you let me write a poem about dildo wielding disco zombies! Awomen!

P.S. God, thanks for not making me a Jehovah's Witness or Mormon = I look like shit in a white blouse. I do think you are flipping wacked on the Scientology score though - Tom Cruise is such a putz!
