I can't tell if you're being serious, but if you are, I don't understand why anyone wants a character limit on regular posts on a literature based site. It's literally in the name-literotica. I can kind of understand the signatures not being huge because that's on every single post, but for just general posts...why? I don't get it.

Still waiting for lots of stuff that was discussed months ago to be implemented, or at least replied to. The Manu seems to have gone walkabout. Knock knock ....
But to add ..... auto lock threads older than ... ( insert time period here ). Have been seeing lots of threads many, many years old being bumped up for little or no reason. Often results in duplicates with more recent threads of nearly the same title and topic.

I understand I have been doing indexes for years on over 150 threads because of 10,000 character count doing so is no longer possible.. so now only to do anything I need to save 10 to 25 post so I can add to the index I an doing now, even that fill up fast.

Yaknow Bub, I was a big proponent of this new package early on in this thread. Check my posts as I tried to guide users into it and quell their fears and dissent.
But I be a gittin' plenty pissed.
Lots of stuff ain't workin'. Lots of delays and glitches, posting anomalies, timeouts and so on.

This indeed would be a good time for all authors here to look at their portfolios here and contemplate what, if anything, they want to do to preserve that portfolio. I've had story sites just disappear overnight before. I post the stories to multiple story sites as insurance to one evaporating. Suggest authors here should look at what they have to possibly lose and consider what they can do to protect what they've written.

I doubt this has to do with the new site, but may have something to do with the SSL? licences that expired last year. I can access the site through my iphone OS 15.5 if I use WiFi but not through 4G/data. I've tried with Safari, Chrome and Firefox and get the same message but I can access other non-adult sites.

I've Googled around to find a solution without success and even contacted my service provider who said that there were no restrictions such as parental blocks. Any suggestions? I'm in the UK

I don't understand why, when SSL certificates are not expensive, the site hasn't yet applied for a new one. Have I missed something in the last 10months since their old licensing cert elapsed? It ain't rocket science guys and soon I'll lose the ability to log on at all... because of SSL.

I've only had that problem while trying to log in from my works wifi, but never had that problem at home or on my phones internet yet.

I can't post any more pictures! I'm using android, and my phone and browser are updated... I don't see the "attach file" icon next to "post reply" like everyone else I've talked to.

I love the Lit app for reading stories. However, when i go to rate the story I get the "unable to process the request at this time" every single time i try. I also can not save a story to favorites on the app (Android) and even though I am signed in with my web user id, I can not access favorite stories or authors on the app. It just says i have none saved. Also, it would be real nice if it saved more than 10 stories in the "Last Read" area. Thank you for making Literotica what it is today and I hope the App becomes better in the near future.
1. I miss not being able to see 100 posts per page (200 or more would be even better). This thread has 44 pages now, at 25 per page. That's an awful lot of clicking to search through everything.
2. The "printable version" that strips out a lot of styling is gone now. Is there a way to get it back?
Overall I liked the old style better but that's just preference. The above two issues are real annoyances.

It's probably pointless posting here but may as well try.
I can't change the tag line underneath my username. I know how you're supposed to do it, but I've been trying for weeks (and yes I do press the "save changes" button) but it remains as Lit Guru. It's only a minor issue really but it's annoying when everyone else seems to be able to have fun with that.

hmmn... just tried it and mine changed instantly. using a desktop so perhaps there's some issue affecting phones/laptop and not a desktop set up?
just changed it back, still no problem

Yeah, that's how I assume it should work. It works instantly on my main profile section but it doesn't transfer over to the forum here.
I thought it might be desk-top related, so I've previously logged in via my android which I never do, and once even tried downloading the app and doing it that way. I've even changed it and logged out, you know, to "help it catch".
There's definitely some kind of glitch going on. Like I said, it's not a big deal in the grand scheme - but it is annoying to think if there's that glitch then what else may not be working as I think it is etc.

Try putting your title in both the “Biography” box and the “Title” box. (The title box will tell you the max length). Then hit save.

On laptop too. I think there was an issue but now it seems that it has been resolved.

Fewer and fewer attempts to open the story file in the third browser that still will let me do so are working. I presume soon I won't be able to get into Literotica at all.
Trying through Edge or Firefox only gets an "unauthorized" message. And now, via Chrome, more than half approaches to get in just get a blinking sign-in page.
