I don't know if the OP still monitors this or not as there doesn't seem to be any response for quite some time. FWIW I'll post a few issues I have, but want to express my overall happiness with this new board software. I'm quite familiar with it from some other sites I'm on and think it has improved the forums over the last model. It is good to be able to use the profile information from the writing side of the site.
one Issue hinders the site in my opinion. It is:

1. Avatar and Profile picture approval. It shouldn't take weeks to do this, especially avatars for forum participants. It has to be the single most frustrating thing especially for we who don't have avatars on the forum.

I recently updated my photo on the writing side and it has been 'waiting for moderation' for weeks now. Also, I have gone well over 100 posts on the forum and have no avatar. I expect it has to do with my new pictures being 'moderated'?

Neither Avatar and/or Profile picture (which in theory have been linked together as of lately) work. The "waiting for moderation" msg is fictitious. Many of us have been asking about this for weeks now but no answer.

Oh the irony. Then, you can't change profile details with the old site. Now, you can't change your profile picture with this new site.

I would like to make one suggestion; if I decide not to post this, I cannot find a way to cancel it. I can consistently hit the "undo" icon and eventually get there, but what a pain. I've tried just deleting the whole post but when I return, there's my unposted reply waiting to be posted.

okay, you can 'save draft' and 'delete draft'

see the 3 dots after the 'undo' icon? click on that and you get a few more icons. the last one is the drafts icon and clicking on it offers you that option to delete. sorted

it's not 'fictitious': my av changed today... been a couple of weeks, maybe 3
has your new one shown yet?

looks like there are a bunch of new avs showing

perhaps, with all the tweaks for a new look, they now go through all the new av requests once a month and that's something that might change over time as any gremlins in the system wrinkle their way out. we were spoiled by the old system of instant gratification.

Nope. It was around 4rth of April. I just saw Fara's AV had changed, after weeks. Just in time when she wanted to keep the one she had. lol This new system is bonkers.

How do I view more than 10 posts per page? I liked 100 posts per page.

i can't see where to change it at the moment, though mine currently displays 25 posts per page which was my old setting, i think, or it may have been 40. either way, it's 25 now.

What's the deal with the link and character limit in the signature editor? My current sig displays just fine, but the moment I want to edit it, to actually REMOVE a few lines, I get slapped with "Your signature is

- x lines too long
- has too many links
- is 297 character(s) too long

Since when has that been a problem? I mean, I change my sig only once a year, but one would think a new forum would be an UPGRADE, not a downgrade in that regard. I'm not expecting screen-filling pics or video sigs (gods help us), but at least let us be a bit more verbose in our self-promotion than the average Twitter post.

^^^ I prefer shorter sigs. They're not supposed to be the size of roadside billboards.

But there is another option I've seen on some XF boards that contracts the sigs the same way you see quotes contracted here and that have the same 'Expand' button for those that want to view it all.

I had an incident with the 10,000 limit again this morning when I tried to edit a post of mine. The post in particular had a large portion near the top where the text was much smaller than the other half, and difficult to read because of this.
