Not really, try to beat the heat. Son is coming by for his weekly visit. How about for you?
I'm supposed to go to mom and dad's for one of my three or four weekly visits. lol I'm going to see how my back feels in an hour or so, though.

I do hope you make your visit, not because I want you to leave here, but because it would mean your back is better.

Nothing yet. Tseranc came online so we may write, but I'm not into anything this evening. Kinda lonely.
Me, too. :( Sometimes you just have those days when you realize how far away the people that are special to you really are.

So how exactly does an SRP work?

You write your character and do your best to not write anyone elses, but you can write NPC (Non posting characters) these would be your characters that don't have big parts, but are like supporting characters... maybe a mom, dad, mailman, etc...

The #1 rule is to not move or speak for another writer's character -- You need to get the okay for that from the writer, because some folks get really pissed if you don't. *shivers*

Now. . . there are 2 kinds of SRP's... open (meaning anyone can join) or closed (you and whoever you want and that is it - no one else can write unless you allow it)

If you click the link in my sig... Claiming Claire you can see the style.

Tseranc writes his character, I follow with my characters views and observations. . .Now... he and I have a standing agreement that we can move each other's characters, but we don't do it very often. But at times it helps move the story faster.
