Loa Blood

Nia:

IC: The place was very modest, only what was needed was there. they had a ring and lights and standing room. Still this was easy to keep out of sight.

I moved among the crowd which was denser than I liked. I began to wonder if I had put off all the weight after the kids, or maybe I was just getting fat or something. No that isn't possible, I know I lost the weight with in two weeks of giving birth to them, and it must be hard to put on weight since I barley ever eat. It just really is that crowded.

Off ahead of me I though I saw some one familiar. Like a celebrity or some other person i should recognize. Still it must be a little known person. Hmm, who could she be. I made my way closer to her trying to figure it out, weaving between people, occasionally apologizing for bumping some one.

When i got close she glanced over to me and I immediately blushed having her notice my starring and movement toward her. I stopped moving not wanting to draw attention to her, and looked away. When I glanced back she was still looking at me. Wait isn't she that belly dancer from that first party with Otto? Yes, yes she is.

'They call him the Crusher!' my heart skipped a beat and I quickly turned and looked at the ring to see my night mare. A night mare I will face again. There stood a fair skinned teen. he had pure white skin just like any Valin. That isn't the crusher. I let out sigh of relief. Judging by the looks of this guy, he'd be easy to beat compared to the crusher. Not that his foe looks incredibly tough either. What the hell is that guy wearing?

Aralia

Loki carries Valous out of their room and into the windowless, metal interior corricor of the arcology just as his implant registers electronic systems coming on line downstairs. Imprinted over his vision of the hallway floor, Loki sees two powered humanoid suits charging up. Radios activated. Weapon systems engaged. Loki is halfway to the elevator when the floor of his apartment shatters in a spray of shrapnel. Two armored figures climb up through the hole in the floor.

The suits definitely aren't Aralian. Far too crude. Primitive even. One has a helmet like a bird's head. The other like a dog's. The armor includes bulky gloves housing the weapons array, and some sort of hieroglyphics across the chest. In the corner of Loki's vision, he sees the implant scrolling rapidly through online libraries of ancient alphabets, searching for a match.

The two figures move to the doorway of Loki's former apartment, looking out into the hallway at the man running to the elevator with the child in his arms. Loki is aware of their weapons system cycling, selecting . . .

Valous

IC: the floor rumbled with energy as to giant machines popped out of it first facing the apartment door, and then turning to myself and Loki. He stopped and looked at them as if he was searching for something. This was no time to stop but his breaking gave me a chance to gather my bearings and act.

I formed the pearl haired ivory skined version of myself pout to battle the monsters. I couldn't do much but I would do what I could. The image bent down picked up a rock and threw it at the helmet of one. That'll make these two things behave!

The Crusher

He would move slowly. He'd need to conserve his strength for this plan. Every second he thought about it, he thought it crazier and crazier. Every time it got crazier, he liked it more and more. The plan came in five basic steps. Number one- Get to Tiamat. That one also happened to be hardest. He snuck across the blasted streets, dodging as besthe could. Occasionally, a rogue monster would wander into view, and he'd disintegrate it. Nothing too spectacular. As he was makin his way from a ruined car to a broken building, his keen nose picked something up. Something... familiar. He leapt aside as a massive, bladed spider leg tore a gaping hole into the street beside him. He lifted into the air, staring down the agressor. Before him, a gargantuan spider stood, cannon emerging from its underbelly. "Oh. You. Your parent might have had an easy time with me, but you'll find that I've changed a bit. Revenge," he chuckled. The spider lashed out, a claw slamming into his chest and ripping him through the building behind him, kicking up dust and debris. Still chuckling, the Crusher ripped the leg off, sending green-blue blood spewing all over the street. Then, with a mighty swing, he used the swing to batter the spider aside. Dropping the leg, he slammed into the things underbelly, shredding flesh and the cannon. The metal on his hands forming three-foot blades, his hands went into a flurry of metal, cutting the monster apart. When he was done, it was no longer recognizable, and honestly, neither was he. Covered with green-blue ichor, chuckling lightly to himself, he continued on his way.

Nikki glanced around the crowd as she subtly positioned herself at the edge of the ring. Her gaze found the crusher. He wasn't what she expected. Then again she knew better then to judge someonne by their appearance. Her gaze left the crusher once more scanning the crowd. Wait .. her gaze locked onto a familiar face... or rather to. The belly dancer from Otto's party. The night she had first gotten involved with Hass. And the other, another woman. Her name eluded Nikki. Curiously Nikki moved closer to the woman.

Symphony
Symphony groaned and shook his head.Damn that kid was strong, though if he Had been the crusher,he would be paste at the moment,or ash, whichever.

"heh, the Crusher? You're not even close kid"He taunted as he got up."You're nothing better then a tough brat who learned he was tougher then most. You may be used to these weaklings."He gestured towards the ring, clearly contemptuos of the fighters the "Crusher" had fought, though in his head he was trying to tell himself that this should work.
He waited another moment, then raised both hands towards the crusher....and a soft, incredibly lulling sound fileld the boys ears. Not expecting sucha subtle move he watched the kid droop a bit,the sound stimulating the parts of the human mind that make a person feel safe, comforted as the msuic vibrated in hsi ears.It probably wouldn't wokr long, but he just had to keep the kid from killing at the moment, yet keep him angry enough that the crowd didnt suspect.

Loki

Loki turned, clutching the baby gently to his body as he stared at the figure he had seen when he had first taken teh girl. What was with this shimmery form?why did she follow him?Whatever,He knew that a rock and a pout wouldnt stop those mechanical contraptions, not for long at least.

He started back into the elevator as something clicked in his mind, and one of the suits powered down suddenly, sparks shooting from its control board. The other selected a set of poorly made but guided missiles and fired two of them down the hall.

He shouted and looked away,a hand lifted as the missiles shrieked and turned in mid air, impacting into the walls on either side, sending Loki and the child tumbling into the elevator,he hammered at the touch panel to start it going as the smoke cleared, the powersuit turning and raising a machine gun,the bullet unguided and crudely made, but most importantly they were not electronic.

He stared as the doors dinged just as the thing fired, the doors sliding shut, and the billions of pingpingpingpapingpingping
echoed, the elevator doors bending in from the bullets hitting it as a computer voice calmly stated.

"elevator doors close,descending....."

He slumped against the corner of the elevator and checked the baby. She was safe.Good

Roza and Olu slipped through the crowds and watched as they waited for the righters to arrive. She scanned around the arena to see whether there was some sort of way to get out of the place and find the boy. Just as she looked down at the arena she noticed a woman starring at her. Trying to figure out whether the jig was up or not for her, she continued to watch the woman approach her.

Her whole body went into to defense mode, as if she could deicde to make an exit immidiately. Now was not the time to get into sticky trouble. She recognized the girl saring at her, and then she noticed the other one behind slowly making her way towards her. Man she was ever popular .. just as she was tryingt o figure out what to say to these women, she hear the announcement of the fighters, "...A newcommer Symphony.." WHAT?! She was going to kill that man .. trust him to take the direct approach ...

Great now how were they going to get both of them out of there.. this was not good. Did he even know she was there. They had decided to take seperate mission.. HAH who knew he would just take the direct appraoch , he knew that MAdame Hass was still upset with him , for taking her and leaving.. oh this evening just got better and better.

She looked over to Olu and whispered, "What the hell is that Man doing in the arena.. adn I hope that he knows he's going to have to take the kid out or pretend to get taken out for this to be over..."

She looked around and saw that there were fighters surrounding the ring so no one could approach the ring and there were only two entrances and exits to the ring. well I guess this means we need to figure out how to get down there She figured if they could get close enough to the door where the boy had come out form , then maybe they could get to it when everyone would be distracted watching the fight.

Leos drooped a bit, a smile playing at his lips. Dreams of his parents, of fun and fighting flashed through his mind. His smile got a little bigger. Through the images of fighting, he saw the new fighter, Symphony frollicking. That reminded him. He shook his head a bit, trying to stay focused. He was in a fight. That was fun. "But I am the Crusher. How can I just be close when I'm him. Anyway, that's nice music. But if you wanted me to fight harder, you didn't have to play music. You could've just said so," he responded. With that, he charged forward, arm outsretched, wrapping around Symphony's throat, carrying him forward, and slamming him into the ground. Then, he raised his foot, bringing it down on Symphony's stomach.

Symphony

Symphony squirmed and rolled on the ground for a moment in pain before staggering back to his feet.
ugh....that hurt...alot.....
He checked a watch hidden in his flamboyant, tasteless costume.

The good Doctor promised and escape route soon, but where the hell is it! He thoguht to himself as he eyes the kid, deciding to be direct this time.He raised his arms up as the boy rushed again, seeing him up and coherent. His hadns dropped and clapped, and the deafening Boom literally rippled the air with its passing, sending the "Crusher" tumbling head over heels to land on his back.
Symphony clapped again, and this time it was more focused, digging the boy and inch into the fighting area's floor.

He couldn't keep this much sound up for long, especcially after the hits he had taken.Where was his rescue?

Nikki paused when she felt the girl notice her. She hadn't had the oppurtunity to speak to her since that night she first saw her. Ever since she had entered Hass's organization she had been trying to find this woman, but everything had led to a dead end. Deciding the direct approach she closed the distance between her and the woman. "Hello, do I know you? You look awfully familiar. Whats your name?" Nikki asked her expression carefully schooled to innocence. If she could just get a name. She had probed gently at the womans mind but the woman was a gifted so if Nikki wanted in she would have to push her way in possibly hurting the woman and at the very least alerting her to Nikki's intent. No she would have to do this the old fashion way.

Aralia

Valous' thought-form stands in the hallway with the two armored forms. The dog-headed figure lays on the ground sparking. The bird-headed figure retracts it's machine gun, rotates it's gauntlet arsenal, and fires a weighted net over the glowing girl.

In the elevator, Loki senses the building's security alarms going off. His implant is scrambling the cameras around him, but he will have to get clear of the arcology before police seal it off.

The elevator drops 1 floor, 2, and then there is a heavy thump on the roof. The elevator continues to drop. Something is on top of the elevator, something that doesn't appear to any of Loki's electronic senses.

The scrolling code in the corner of his vision finds a match for the hieroglyphics on his attackers armor. It's Amunet. Loki sees a map of Amun Island, and scrolling news reports of the nation's human rights violations, struggles with GAIA, and rumours of illegal Loa Blood experiments on humans.

Something is opening the elevator hatch.

Amun

Mary wakes in a stone cell. She is wrapped in bandages and painted with obscure symbols. There are tubes in her arms, legs, abdomen, throat, the tubes leading to a sprawling apparatus of pipes and pumps extending outside the bars of her cage and throughout the space beyond.

Her cell is small, and surrounded with thick stone bars. Beyond the bars, there are other stone cages, other people wrapped in bandages, plugged into the apparatus. Mary can make out a chubby, middle aged man in the closet cage. All the other prisoners appear to sleeping.

Draco City

The Crusher forces his way through the concrete and glass wasteland of Draco. His flame is nearly exhausted, so he saves it, tearing into the monsters with his arm blades and spiked tail. Countless things come crawling at him out of the shadows and alleys. Shaggy, armoured, pulsating with slime or glowing with force field light. They lash the Crusher with claws and teeth, fists haloed in buning plasma. The Crusher throws them off one by one, broken or dead.

Suddenly, from out of nowhere, a brilliant white flash strikes the Crusher, like a shooting star. The bolt of light propels the Crusher away from the battling horde of monsters, slams him through walls of stone and steel, finally imbedding him in the stone support of the long arcing suspension bridge out to Tiamat.

The Crusher can barely make out the white light, a young girl, thin and crazed, before she tears off into the sky. So fast. The shooting star arcs overhead and swoops down for another attack.

Nia and Valous

IC: Nia: A girl came up to me. She only vaguely looked familiar, as if I had glanced at her once or twice at some time or another. But she did still look familiar which meant it was recent.

'Hello do i know you? You look awfully familiar. What is your name?' I let out a sigh of relief, at the very least she didn't recognize me very well either. Which meant I wasn't just being forgetful.

"I have to say I'm glad you don't remember me. Because I really can't place where I've seen you before either. I'm Nia." I gave a sleight bow for respect. "And you are?"

IC: Valous: A net shoot over my mental form. I can't believe this person, you'd think they'd show some respect i did just throw a rock at the head of his friend. Oh well I'll just let this net fall off of me and throw another one.

I heard the elevator open, and with a sudden jerk my powers disappeared and I was back inside my child body. letting the net fall to the ground. The man reached the elevator and the doors shut with a pinging sound as the two angry men threw rocks at it. The man slumped down in a corner as the elevator sped up on the way down. I looked up able to tell something was on it trying to force it's way threw the hatch but unable to tell what. If the elevator wasn't moving I could use my powers and look, but sadly that wasn't the case.

Leos

Leos is stunned, but quickly recovers, leaping back up. "Not bad. Better than most of the stuff that comes in here nowadays. I hope you can do more than that, though", he sighs, rushing at Symphony, fist coming up, slamming into Symphony's belly, knocking him to the floor. Leos gets behind the wheezing man, wrapping his arms around Symphony's chest, then lifting him in a bear hug. He began to squeeze.

The Crusher

He shook his head, wiping away the confusion and pain. He saw her, a beam of light his eyes could barely keep up with. He looked around him, quickly taking stock of the environment. His eyes sighted the pillar he was encased in, and went wide as the plan developed. He was still as he saw her rushing at him, lightning fast. She slammed into him, sending a wave of pain through his body, knocking him further into the stone. He chuckled madly as she zoomed off. Once more, he waited. Again, she slammed into him, knocking him in further. He was still. This time, she paused, confused, wondering why he was still. "Damn it! Keep at me, girl!" he hissed. He needed to get her attention. He formed a small ball of warmth, not enough to do any real damage, and threw it at her. As it collided with her, small scorch marks appeared, but nothing real. Except for a renewal of her rage. She streaked backwards, then launched herself at him again. This hit sent him through the column, but he stopped himself on the other side, one hand clutching onto the girl, preventing her from fleeing. He raised the other, and with a mighty swing, smashed the column. He chuckled as the column collapsed. He withdrew his arm only as he heard the sound of flesh and bone being turned to pulp. Grinning madly, the bridge waving precariously from the loss of one of its supports, he continued on his way.

Roza watched the fight and felt numb she had no idea how to prevent Symphony from getting pummeled to death by the kid. She made her way closer to the fighter that guarded the door, she figured if she could get around him then , she would be able to hide between teh door and the caged fight, perhaps even distracting the boy from truly harming symphony.

She used some of her body language and turned her power towards him, hopefully he would be distracted enough for Olu to move past him and then Roza could follow afterward. she wanted nothing to go wrong so she approached the one that seemed to look like he was the easiest to convince.

She used her body and the movements she made in that extremly provacative manner, then using the compulsion in her voice to get his attention , "Hello, how are you doing? Do you think you could help someone like me out with something?" As much as she tried, she hoped that he would get distracted enough for her and Olu to get through past the gate to where they could get to the door.

Nikki smiled charmingly "my name is Sabrina, it's nice to meet you Nia. Now where could I have seen you before. Do you frequent any parties perhaps?" Now that she had a name she could easily search for any info she wished. Whether Nia was invovled with Hass or not it was good to know all she could about the gifted in town.

Loki
Loki stared up at the top fo the elavator, his breath speeding up as camera views spun past him, flicking rapidly, battling wiht his normal vision as he tried to find what was on top of the elevator.

Their was a creak and teh elevator suddenly stopped as the lights went out for a moment, followed bya shriek of metal as the elevator started to plummet, red warning lights flashing as the elevatro hurtled its way down the elevator shaft.

He grabbed the baby and curled up a bit, shielding her and looking up fearfull at whatever was starting to rip into the elevator's roof.

The computerized, cheery voice warned him that the elevator was approaching unsafe speeds, and to remain calm as the elevator plummeted towards the ground floor.

A minute of this, and untold flips of his stomachs later, metal shrieked as emergency brakes finally kicked in,the elevator grinding slowly to a halt,a ding announcing the floor number, though the elevator was halfway between one floor and the next. The door slid open and Loki slowly shifted over, sliding out under the elevator's doorframe, cradling the abby carefully before backing up the hallway, looking for a staircase or another elevator.

Symphony
Symphony grunted, air expelling out of his lungs before he breathed deeply, trying to keep from being crushed to a pulp as his chest creaked, probably cracking a rib as he struggled.
His larger form luckily enabled him to stay with his feet on the ground, but it didnt help solve the crushing pressure across his body.He wriggled a bit and flung his head back, cracking it against the kid's face, opnly hurting his skull in the process.

He felt the air pushed out of his lungs, his eyes wide as his body strained for air.He lifted his legs and managed to flip them both back,at least a little bit before the kid slammed him down on his feet again.Thats all he needed as the ground rippled,a shockwave going through it,breaking the kids grip as he droped and rolled out of the way, taking short, sharp breaths.

"heh, pretty strong for such a kid,but your not the original Crusher, trust me"

He stood slwoly, wincing a bit as his body protested."If you are the crusher, this shouldn't do much"

He concentrated, and the air shivered before a roar fileld the air, deafening everyone in the audience as the ground in front fo him rippled, bent, and broke, sending the kid into the air as the shockwave hit him, sending him backwards into one of trucks used to carry them, bending it and sending it skidding back a bit.

"man...i sure hope that didn't hurt him too bad, that would be bad"was his thought as he started towards the wreckage of the truck

Nia

IC: I waited for her reply only for a second. 'My name is Sabrina, it's .......' A thunderous sound came at me and hit me with such force I almost fail over from sheer shock alone. I reflexively cupped my hands over my ears to keep out as much sound as possible. "What the hell is going on." I found my voice missing in the sound, not simply lost in confusion but completely gone as if it was snatched away from me to add to the force. Then after what seemed longer then the mere moment it truly was, the sound stopped.

Around me was utter quiet, I wondered if I had gone deaf, but from a quick glance I could tell, the silence was from something else. No one in the room was speaking or even moving, as if they were afraid these actions would cause the thunderous noise to repeat once more. I looked back at the ring just as the void of silence was shattered. The man in the ring spoke 'Man...i sure hope that didn't hurt him too bad, that would be bad.' It wasn't a loud sound by any stretch but it definitely was a sound.

Leos

Leos groaned, struggling to find his feet. He was still on his knees when Symphony reached him. Leos felt his muscles strain up. What was it? The shockwave... or something else? He wasn't sure. "I..." he couldn't hear himself. He opened his mouth, poked a finger inside, checking his tongue. Nope. Still there. Teeth too, surprisingly. He tried to make a sound, and could slightly hear it over the ringing in his ears. At last, he was able to stand. "Damn..." he paused. Defnitely heard himself that time. "Damn... your... good", he gasped out. "Too bad... I still gotta... gotta... gotta beat ya!" he schouted, rearing his head back, then throwing it forward, his forehead colliding with the man's nose. Then, a hand latched on to Symphony's neck, lifting him a bit off the ground. Leos spun him around, slamming him into the truck, his left fist shooting forward, hitting the man in his side heavily. Just then, the boy's ears popped, and shocked, he dropped Symphony. He poked a finger into his ear, then drew it out, covered with blood.

The Crusher

"Hehe. I'm almost off this festering pit. I'm going to visit all my old friends. The girl. The rockman. All of them. Hehe. We'll have oodles of fun. Oodles and oodles", he chuckled, now under the cover of darkness. He was tired. He hated to admit it, but he was. Killing monsters all day tends to do that to you. Nevertheless, he was determined to make it to the facility this night. The next day he would rest, then put his plan into action. Again, a chuckle.

The Crusher(mind)

Dan Williams sat on his large bed. He sighed, then looked aound. At least he wasn't in a shack anymore. As he'd grown stronger, his room had somehow increased with him. He was now in a fairly decent hotel room. Even as he sat, his senses probed the warehouse that was his mind. He could feel the others out there, fighting, warring with each other. He may have grown stronger, but he still couldn't even take on the nameless. Not to even consider that manic bastard. How could this have happened? How could anyone so insane be in him? He sighed, and sat still, waiting.

Dan Williams blasted forth heat, shrugging off the nameless, then, with a mighty swing of his right hand, battered away the Crusher. Mel stood atop a crate, waiting, then leapt forth, arm blades aimed for Dan's throat. Dan caught the arm blades, snapped them off, and hurled Mel through a wall. He laughed, loud, powerful, content. "Listen, idiots. You can assault me for the rest of eternity. It only makes me stronger, it only puts me into further control." His opponents stood, bruised and battered, staring him down. "Come then. I'll beat you back again. Again and again!"

Mel fell back, running to his room. It was actually more like a modest apartment. It wasn't much, but he liked it. Since his birth, he had fought this madman. The bastard was just too strong. Not long ago, the other Dan had joined in the fights, attempting his own control. Mel felt sorry for him, and when the man appeared, Mel tried his hardest to keep the pathetic man alive. It had worked moderately well. But Mel knew that he could only keep protecting the man for so long. Sooner or later, the psycho would realize his goal. He was close already. The Crusher and the nameless wouldn't last much longer. Even though they didn't need to rest, like the rest of them, the bastard was tearing them apart, taking over them piece by piece. And if that happened...

The Crusher

He chuckled, the night his cloak, moving from building to building, tearing apart what he needs to. He's finally reached Tiamat, and he assumes a more cautious stance. He is near site zero. If there is something on this island he needs to be wary about, it'll be here, just a few blocks from the building.

Nikki covered her ear at the deafening boom that shook the entire fight club. Her mind immediatly sought that source. That fighter... her gaze went to the pit and locked on to the crushers opponent. That guy had an interesting ability. Mentally she sent a message to Mark. She had been practicing lately but because he wasn't psycic it took an extra push to send it but he recieved them pretty well.. just was unable to send one back 'Mark, look up what you can on a guy names Symphony. Who he works for, what he does. He has an interesting ability that could come in handy if he can be persuaded' then she turned back to Nia "What in the world caused that" she asked feigning ignorance. If possible she wanted to keep the fact that she was gifted under wraps.

Tiamat

The Crusher is close enough that he should be able to see the Coda complex, but there is nothing rising above the industrial city ruins. The ground underfoot is sandy.

The Crusher smells the cat in the instant before the beam hits him. The Crusher's right arm melts, metal, scale, muscle and bone turning to white sand. A neat hole through the Crusher's right wing drips sand from it's transmuted edges.

The scrawny cat mewls and hisses at the Crusher, it's third eye sweeping the ruins with an invisible beam. Shrubs, corpses, wood, glass, plastic, metal distintigrates. Sand blows in the cold night wind.

Beyond the cat, in the darkness of the ruins toward the Coda facility, a lone man walks slowly towards the Crusher.

He gasped, falling to his knees, his arm, now sand pouring onto the ground. With a slow groan, he rose again. "Damnit!" he hissed. He gathers heat into his other hand, and hurls it at the cat. The cat isn't quick enough to dodge the hurtling ball, and before the ball even comes into contact, the cat bursts into flame, oxygen in its lungs superheating to ignition. A small noise escapes the cat's mouth before it falls apart, ashes, onto the ground. The Crusher looks at his arm. He tentavely touches the stump, and winces, yanking his hand back. "God motherfucking damnit!" he whispers, unable to raise his voice beyond that. "This might take some time to fucking grow back. Uhhh. God. Didn't think anything that fucking dangerous was here. Now, who the hel is that man, and what the fuck does he want? For once, I'm not in the mood to fight."
