SWEET building, POPS!

Nother view of it... we got lots of old buildings and stuff... on account of it's the 'proven' oldest permanently inhabited settlement in England, (Oldest Town)

No, no, no. I love seeing these pictures and knowing you are there. Post more, please. P.

Of course my Avatar sig says Oxford... but I actually live about 8 miles outside Oxford... I don't often use the local traditional form of transport though.

Last one for now... I've been pissed in this pub a few times... which can prove dodgy when you stagger out of the front door... The Anchor Inn St Helens Wharf, at dusk.

Pops, I'm loving these! Don't stop!

I'll have to see if I can dig out some pics of my home town. :)

Perdita, thank you, they are a joy to share.

Lou :rose:

I thought you lived under London bridge? Troll.

Nah, even that's too grand for me (and it hasn't even got the posh towers like TOWER BRIDGE). London Bridge is just a big, regular bridge.

:p

:D

speaking of Pubs....This one was outside of Winchester a ways. The door was about 5 foot 9 inches high ("mind your Head" read the sign)....then INSIDE lower in parts where the beams came down (sorry no pics from inside). There was a massive fireplace one could basically step into....the room smelled of burnt wood....all was dark and perfect.

Of course that's the beauty of the old pub's with low ceilings Rhino... You're already crouching so there's not so far to fall when you've had enough of the local brew:D
