Have you reached the stage where you begin to fee "numb"? I think that started to happen to me at this point in the countdown. This is when I began to realize my limitations (like, NO, I cann't possibly clean the entire apartment now; I cannot lose 10 pounds now; etc.).

The number 3 is half of my favorite number (fave number is 33)~

Jenny is totally right! I think at this same point I was thinking the same thing...cleaning the house like a madman.....worrying so much about the details that I think my hair almost started falling out. Then I finally just took a minute....realized what a tremendous thing was about to happen...and just started taking things slowly...because I knew how precious the time was going to be. Anywho...cheers on your countdown...and have a blast!

Oh...and hello to everyone! I have not been on nearly as much lately..and I do apologize. It's wonderful to see so many people on this thread now...I have to go back and catch up on everyone's stories. Take care.

Yes, there are still a few countdowns happening here, and it does make it exciting for most of us to remember our own special times!:rose:

Have things changed much since your LDR meeting? I feel more restless than before, and frustrated that so many things still need to be done before Oman and I can get back together. (Means less time on the PC too!) However, we're still moving on, and I appreciate every moment spent "connected" with him.:rose:

I don't know about numb. I am a mixture of nervous and excited. I really, really want him to get here! I swear, it is all I think about. I am so distracted at work, I think my boss is wondering what the hell is wrong with me. I keep making silly mistakes and I am in a better mood (not my usual crabby self :) ). As for all the stuff I have to get done, I am a procrastinator by nature, so I will probably clean the entire house and the car 3 hours before he gets here instead of doing it now like I should be doing...

Well We can start another countdown now as well. If all goes well and stays on target then Lady Sam and I just hit the Double Digit Count Down...... 99 Days to go..... Oi! Seen like that It suddenly seems all the more real! Damn Now I really need to crack down and save. :)

Both my love and I have been more restless since her visit. We actually have hit several low points...days where you just want to tear your hair out because of all the problems and questions. What I wouldn't give to just skip the next few years...to just have things settled and the two of us together....it drives me crazy.

For now though, we have reached a very good understanding. We both know that we have things to work on outside of *us*...things that, when they are finished, will help us in the future. Also, she is having difficulty with family members at the moment...which has been a strain on *us* as well....hopefully that situation will be improving in the near future.

But yes Jenny...I do agree. Restless is probably the best word to describe it. Actually...to combat those feelings...we are starting to put together our next visit. I will probably be flying to see her some time this summer...and hopefully for a substantial amount of time! woohoo! I will keep all of you here posted on that in the weeks to come. For now...take care. I continue to pray for you all. On with the countdowns!

I'm caught in the midst of so many indecisions, my head keeps spinning! Got to keep myself more disciplined now... time is both moving very slowly, yet whizzing along.

It's a good idea to start planning your next visit together! I wish more than anything I could just spend some time with Oman NOW; it would certainly give us both a much needed boost! But I still feel strongly that we'll really be together sooner (as opposed to "later"!).:D

Hang in there, and keep communicating!! Glad you shared your restlessness with us here too! It helps to know you're not alone with these feelings, doesn't it?:rose:

I remember those count down days well. AT times it seem like there were 100 hours in a day. Then suddenly on the day we get together there were only 10 hours in a day. Good luck to all those countdowns....Enjoy the time together and have a blast!
These short times together will be some of the very best times of your life, Times you will never forget and always look back on. Times that will always make you smile and bring a tear to your eye
