Except for the pictures, we've pretty much been working on the other points! Maybe I should develop the film left in my instant camera! I've forgotten what's on there! Still wish we had photos taken together!

Hope all the LDRs are getting through the weekend! Still reassuring to me to see that other countdowns are under way!

After meeting online last October, Oman came to NYC for 8 glorious days in February! It was truly the most remarkable experience in my life! It certainly does feel like we've known each other forever. We are now in the slow process of deciding where we're going to try settling together. At our stage of things, it's taking longer than we had hoped.

Hi all, am glad to hear that many long distant relationships are going well...
sadly..mine did not...
i dont think there is a set rule for if it works or not, it comes down to the people involved and thier personal situation, and the willingness to be together no matter what sacrifice is made, and ofcourse abit of communication.

im happy to see so many making it work.

Woohoooo Ebony!!!! Getting close

Well so far we are still scheduled for August and are really working hard to keep it then. So if we are able to we are at 61 days and counting. Not getting to see Daeth as much this week it's planting time for him and between that and work he's exhausted. I miss him so very much and love him even more.

Countdown postponed

Well, as we had feared, we are having to postpone our meeting. Finances are tight on both our sides and it's just not feasible to meet yet. We are hoping to only have it delayed a couple of months. Now I'm off to bed....disappointed, but determined to have another countdown.

I believe that "money isn't everything", but it certainly does affect LDRs in such a BIG way!

Sorry I haven't been here...

Life has been one huge dissappointment after another around here. As you all know, My Allan and I were supposed to be blissfully in heaven at this very moment... Obviously that did not happen. At this very moment, I don't even know where he is... He has been in Boca Raton,FL. for the last week and his cell phone doesn't work this side of the pond so he's not able to access my phone number and call me. He has no access to a computer, so he can't IM or write to me. I have no clue where he's staying in Boca so I can't call him. The last time we "spoke" was Friday am, an he was headed into a meeting back in Germany after which he said he'd be all mine. When he tried to IM me, yahoo decided to act up and wouldn't let us see each others messages. He tried to call and the phone lines were f*cked and all I got was static. I've called his house in Germany 4 times and only get his message mailbox. I know he's supposed to be back in Boca on Monday morning, but I still don't know where he'll be...I'm about to go crazy here... Anyone have any suggestions?
