When I talked about moods, I meant have you ever found yourselves NOT on the same mood level? Connecting with Oman definitely lightens my mood, but there are times when one of us might be "silly", the other "serious" at the same time. That kind of difference.

Hi guys...oh my gosh...my countdown has gone to hours instead of days and I'm surprisingly calm at this moment. It just doesn't seem real yet and I don't think reality will hit until I'm on my way over to meet him. Just 19 more hours....okay...disregard previous statement about being calm...I'm nervous as hell!!

We'll only have probably a couple of hours tonight before he's got to take off for his family's place but we've got Saturday night to look forward to yet too. I just wish the night could have gone on forever. Does anyone find that moods affect your expectations of time "connected" with your LDR?

Absolutely. This has happened a lot. One of us might be "goofy" while the other had some very important and serious things they wanted to talk about. Some of our largest fights have happened because of this, because one of us will say something off hand at the wrong time, and things would just go downhill from there.

We always work it out though. I have noticed that sometimes one of us will just naturally "slip" into the mood of the other person. I dunno, I just felt that I knew what you were talking about.

Anyways, I love her like crazy! I found the woman I want! How amazing is that?! Tee hee Take care everyone.

How wonderful, Ladyhawke! Isn't this experience worth all the pre-meeting jitters? And it's great knowing that you'll meet again tomorrow. So glad for you two!

If you haven't already, consider Lady Sam's advice and take some pictures! I still regret not doing so when Oman was here! He's so much a part of my every day life now, and I wish I had some photos of the two of us together!

Glad you understood what I was trying to explain, Smiley! We shift moods with each other as well, and it only helps open up even more "doors" to learning about each other. I feel like I've known Oman all my life!

Aawww... sweety, just keep yourself busy and the time will fly. The only time it felt like the days were crawling, was when I had nothing to do...
So, I crocheted him a blanket. He'll take it home with him and that way the bed will still smell like I'm with him as he sleeps. Kept me occupied and my mind busy... Try it, you'll see!
