But first I must say my greetings to EA, the owner of this wonderful forum ? thread ? and an unmatched wit with words to match.
And then to all the rest of the denizens of it, you, INS, IR, John . I said hello once before, but I ran back as soon as I came.
Though now it seems wings has reeled me in with her food.
*Chomp*

Right, I won't admit that my mind went somewhere else other than food with that chomp. So we'll move along. Glad you came back out of hiding, J.

That's good. I've been a vegan all my life. Never tasted meat or eggs. Proud of it. :)

Well its been 21 years for me too. I just turned 21 actually :D

And I fit in only because of the warm welcome. Thank you.

So that makes ham and lard, bacon, and pasta. This has to be the oddest lunch I've had in a long time!

In honor of EA's very first post in this thread, I'll bring a cream cake. :)

I'll bring the celery...have to have a veggie, don't you?

In the words of my childhood hero, Deputy Dawg;

"Dagnabbit Muskie, y'all kin do that rha'min reel purdy. I thunk to maself Hot Diggedy dawg, some o'that ole book larnin musta rubbed right off cos I kin see right off yer using words like moonshine in a new and interressin way. C'yant rightly believe that so many o'them words rhymes like that too. Truth of it is, I c'yant rightly believe there's this many words in the world anyhow."

Luckily I don't understand him, so I have no idea what he said.

(I actually AM from the South, so I can do some really fantastic things with Velveeta)

Hi everyone! Just dropping by for a very short while. I hope everyone is having fun. Have a lovely Thursday!

INS: We can sing "Borderline" together, as well as other Madonna songs. Do you happen to know "I am what I am"? It's so cheesy and gay, but I like that too for karaoke! lol

EA: Seems like your little thread is attracting more flies.. er.. people. Das ist gut für dich! :)

Sheeeeet, EA finally I kin understands y'all, though missin' the Mason Dixon line by 'bout 200 miles or so as'n I understands it, we picks and chooses our great heros' o' the south. An as someone liberated Hog Waller's copper statue o' Robert E Lee, as well as'n the our tribute ta' the General Lee, we's now settled on Yosimite Sam, feelin' round here that both Deputy Dawg and Barney Fife bein' a lil too foppish, (dictionary word), fer our tastes..... But thank y'all fer yer pretty words, and they'll be a special lawn chair set fer y'all at our next hog roast...even if'n y'all can't make it

Goodnes gracious Ms Wangs, we'd be coming up on our Halloween, Apple Velveeta festival, and as there's only so many ways folks kin melt velveeta over our grits and home fries, we'd likin' ta ask ta' pehaps consider bein' our Velveeta queen, and would be might proud if'n you'd accept....

I would be proud to accept, if and only if I can have a tiara made of Velveeta. It only seems fitting. I'll even wear my eau de con queso for the occasion.

Owned or loaned, never bemoaned

*Chomp*

I own nothing but my synapses, and sadly I'm missing the brain cells that used to bridge between them. Hi Jekyll, where have you been hyding all this time? I am far from unmatched, but thanks for the compliment. Both INS, Rune and jbe all outwit me regularly, and the ladies outsmart me even more often, for which I am truly grateful. Wouldn't it be dull if we all understood each other?

Glad you feel your foolishness has found the fecundity necessary for frequent forays into our Frisson forum, but can I ask you to forgo the F word? (did ya see what we did there?). Have fun

Hi Jon,

Sorry not to partake in the Hog Waller thread, but as you have seen I simply don't have the vocabulary or the inflection for it. It does make for entertaining reading though. Do you write at all in your profession? If not then I think you should seriously consider it. I'd buy it.
