Most of them entered legally and overstayed their visas -- that is not a border-control problem. The objection to their removal is that they contribute more to our economy and society than they cost. Aren't they actually doing exactly what they said they would do and what got them elected?

I'm not a US citizen but I'm pretty sure securing the borders and deporting illegals was in their manifesto.

ICE has such a high profile right now (thanks to DonOld & the MAGAt republicans’ stupid, fascist policies / strategy / approach) that their mission AND THEIR SAFETY (as well as the safety of the general population) has been compromised.
