Gov. Newsom Files Emergency Motion To Block Trump’s Militarization Of LA

“Defendants intend to use unlawfully federalized National Guard troops and Marines to accompany federal immigration enforcement officers on raids throughout Los Angeles,” the filing ominously predicts. “They must be stopped, immediately.”

News shows are talking about a WSJ article reporting that the little Nazi Stephen Miller ordered ICE to round up illegal aliens forget the law or due process. Miller actually ordered them to go to Home Depot and 7-11 to round people up.

So, to recap. The trump admin ordered a roundup that sparked protests that trump used to call in the National Guard and Marines. Can it be much longer until he calls protests an insurrection? That’ll be fun. Oh, and he says Newsome should be arrested for being a bad governor.

Things aren’t looking good for democracy, the constitution, and the rule of law. And repubs in congress are going along. Dark times.
