Lost city.( vampire, lycan etc roleplay,Open to all)

He felt her desire with every cell of his body as he held her close. Her arms around his neck as she suddenly relaxed in his grip.

"You could, mi amor, but what fun would that be?" It had been many years ago since he had been so close to an other vampire. He breathed in her sweet scent.

"I see you hungering over this little brunette over there. And your eyes seduce as well as my voice does. Why not have a little fun?" He needed to concentrate, but her presence made it difficult. Leaning down to her neck his lips brushed her skin while he closed his eyes, trying to keep the focus.

"Or you could harm me, and continue your aimless existence." Laurent was overwhelmed by all this emotion and clenched his arms around her.

To many emotions and feelings. He couldn´t take it after so many years. did not know how to handle it. He was lost.

Suddenly I was overcome with emotion again, emotions that were not my own. Just like I had felt the lycan's pain the night before, I suspected I was now feeling this older vampire's emotions. It seemed I could add "empath" to my power resume. The power excited me, but I put finding out more about how it worked and concentrated on him.

"Laurent." The name sounded in my mind just as loudly as it had been spoken. He was holding me, tighter than he had been before, less threatening, almost like a lover. My vampire body and mind reacted the same as it would have had it been human. I brought a hand away from his neck, lifted his chin, brushed my lips across his. His face was handsome and had I not already known and been a vampire myself, I might have thought he was an angel. The longish, white-blong hair only added to his appeal, although I had never been fond of long-haired men. I shivered with desire again, but held back from wild thoughts that raced through my mind. The ball was in his court as they say.

(OOC borrowing some Vampire of the Masquerade features in this one :))

Feeling her lifting his chin and then the light touch of her lips against his was overwhelming. So long ago he had sensed this sensation of being so close to another of his kind.

He felt his hunger down in his stomach. For blood, for sensuality. He had been hungry a long time now, with no desire to lessen it. He had lived so long. Could not understand how older vampires than him still held on to the joy of the hunt, or the joy of anything for that matter.

The beast within him just lay under the surface, encouraged by this female vampires touch. He could feel it roar. He had been without to long and the beast could not tolerate it anymore.

The scent and taste of her lips was irresistable to the beast. Trying to focus and hold the beast at bay. If it was released here among humans it could be devastating for his kind.

Suddenly his focus shattered somewhat and he returned her kiss. Tasting the edges of her lips with his tongue. The beast almost rose to the surface completely.

Barely containing it he thought of a way out. Desperately he looked around and notices a safety exit not far away.

He felt the beast stirr as he released his tight grip of her to just hold her arm. Dragging her with him to the exit and almost in panic busts it open.

They enters the backvalley of the club and he draws he further away until they reach a dumpster container.

Behind the container in a somewhat secluded location, he presses her up against the wall standing behind her. Pressing her to the wall with his upper body pressed to her back. Holding her stuck there.

So much emotion in this one. Just with one touch of my lips his emotions were now nearly crushing my senses. I was thinking what he was thinking, but no, I wasn't. I was merely feeling what he was feeling; raw lust, desire, panic. As he kissed me back, I knew that I wouldn't play with him. I needed him just as much as he needed me.

His dragging me out of the club into the alley behind it was unexpected. All alone in the alley, he pressed me to the wall so hard my face scraped into the rough bricks. I could have turned to mist and gotten away; a part of me wanted to, but the bigger part wanted to know what he was going to do next. Curiosity killed the cat. They could write that on my tombstone if he decided to harm me. At that point I really didn't care; I hadn't felt this way since my human days. So completely helpless, although I wasn't, but not even Talia had dazzled me so much with her strength.

I turned my face to him as far as I could. Out of the corner of my eye, I could make out his shape, notice the heaving of his chest that had nothing to do with breathing. I could move my arms, those he hadn't pinned to the wall with his upper body, so I did. Reaching behind me slightly, I ran my hands up his sides. That hand slid behind me, skimming, feeling the hard body behind me.

Laurent felt her hands touching his hips and moving up along his ribs. He was almost in a frenzy, could only think of the hunger the beast required satisfied. The hunger for closeness and his bloodlust seemed to mix until he could not tell what was what.

He leaned forward using his lips and tongue on the soft spot under her ear. Concentrating to not loose it and rip open her throat. To much clothes between them he thought. Instantly he reached and ripped of her shirt dropping it to the ground.

As he was grabbing her breasts from behind he could feel her nipples in the palms of his hands through the thin satin cloth of her bra. The sensation almost drove him over the edge as his mouth and tongue played with the skin behind her ear and on her neck.

Back

I am finally back. Bout time i know. ~lol~ had comp issues.Hello to all that have stayed glad to see you still here. And welcome to the new rpers.

OOCish:

Hey, long time indeed. *smile*

And I want to continue .. but BlackOpal19 has been scarce, so I'm kinda stuck too *g* Hopefully it'll pick up after the first of the new year.

Garnet followed through the motions as both her and Talia headed to the nightclub. The taxi cab driver seemed almost mesmorized by her, and she felt a sort of power well inside her. Power she had not felt, but craved when she was alive. But a part of her recoiled as well. It was sickening to realize what she was now.

The club was packed. Bodies undulating to the music, to the rythem. It was a peculiar feeling to Garnet as she took Talia's arm and entered. It was as if everything in the world except for them were in slow motion. She swore she could even hear the heartbeats of those around her. The vampire inside of her was welling up, trying to get loose. But she tried to hold it back.

The other vampires stuck out pecularily as well. She had an odd sense of oldness about them, and she surmised that she must be feeling how old they were. There was the other one too, the one who had helped Talia turn her. Garnet swore she would have hissed in anger if she had let herself.

She heard Talia's thoughts. But paid them little heed. She had more important things to worry about. Except that it might be a good idea to make friends, and not enemies with the other older, male vampire. But he was lost in the feelings of another vampress.

Garnet let Talia's arm loose and disapeared into the dance floor. It was foolish to think she could hide and run from her, since she had an eternal control over her anyways...but that was not her intention. She moved through the crowd as if in a daze. Neither dancing nor standing still. Soon only the men were left around her, and they were begining to jostle and fight for the right to be the closest to her. Garnet could not hide her pride in her capabilities at the moment and let a small smile cross her face.

ooc- alrighties, I'm sorry for my long absence. I'm currently at a different location with poorer internet capabilities, but I'll try to be on at least once every couple days. In January I'll be able to return to my usual place and i'll be on almost every day.

I did not protest as Garnet released my arm, and walked out to the dance floor. I made my Presence quite clear to her, confirming her thoughts that she would never be able to hide from me ever again .. but indicating also that it was right and natural for her to do as she was doing.

*Sweet youngling of mine .. never will you starve, this is certain. Enjoy, but remain ever wary. One of those men you are eyeing as a delightful snack for the night, may be a Hunter, whose mind is clouded to you. You are so young, so new, and so vulnerable. Trust, know that I am near you and though I have betrayed you once already, I will remain true to you now, so long as you return the favor.*

I sat at the bar, as the male vampire dragged Aurelia out to the back alley. She could sense my wary amusement, and I also let the sense wash over her, that were she to get into trouble, I would help if I could .. but Garnet was by necessity my greater concern now ....

OOC: My bad everyone :) I was just taking a week long cold shower. Naaa for real though the manager where I work decided to put in her two week notice and until there's a new manager I'm it :( That means 10 hours a day at least if not more. *sigh*

IC:
He was being rough, so out of control. I loved it. I pushed my body back against his, loving the friction that it created. The cool air breezed against my now nearly bare upper half, doing nothing to chill the heat that was rolling through my body. The blood I had so recently consumed zinged through every inch of my body, rushing fueling the desire within me.

His mouth was on me, in almost exactly the same place where Talia had nearly drained me dry, but in my frenzied state, I barely noticed. His lips and tongue were different against my skin; hard yes, but at the same time gentle. He was concentrating I could tell, being careful not to rip my throat apart. I let out a little sigh as his hands cupped my breasts. It was almost more than I could handle.

I wanted to turn and face him, but my current position made it nearly impossible. It seemed that he wanted to be in control, and that too fueled my fire. "Faster," I thought, urging him on with my mind. "I want you."

(OOC no problem, won´t be able to write much until sunday. Will be here and check on things but i am at my mothers phone modem so can only check on things now and then)

(IC)

Her voice in his head that wanted him to rush. It was so tense now. All his desire and blood lust was intertwined and mixed up in her feelings as well.

There was so many feelings and sensations in the air. Laurent couldn´t say what feelings was his or hers. It was so very confusing. As he felt her body pressing against his he almost lost it.

With the speed of desperate urgency he ripped down her pants and panties so they where curled around her thighs, not giving a damn if he destroyed them in the process.

Feeling her naked skin against his own clothes he pressed her body up against the wall as he grazed her neck with his tongue.

The need within him made him bite her neck as he fumbled with his own pants. His bite was merely enough to feel her blood on his tongue but not more than a scratch.

He had to focus to not open up her neck more than he had. He licked the blood from her neck as his pants fell to the ground.

He turned her head with one of his hands. Seeking her mouth in a deep kiss, so she tasted her own blood from his tongue.

ooc: Wow! What a storyline! I've read the entire thing, and am totally hooked! Got room for one more? I noticed that thing have gotten a bit "vamp heavy" though, so thought I'd offer this.

Characters name: Happy Jack
Characters race: Shifter (Lynx)
Characters age: approx. 360 (he’s not sure), but he looks about 40
Place of Origin: Alaskan Wilderness

Physical description: As a Human, Happy Jack is less than imposing, being a relatively stubby individual of a mere five feet and looking much like any other bum that wanders the streets at night. He wears loose-fitting, ratty clothes, and is often barefoot, especially in the summer. He wears a bandana on his head that bears a large smiley-face symbol, and has a pair of thick, jutting, sandy colored sideburns. In his Lycan form, he stands about 6 ½ feet tall, and is covered in a coat of soft, downy, grey fur. His clawed paws are wide, wider than most other Lycans, and he walks upright on his backward kinked legs with surprising grace. He has the black-tufted ears that mark his heritage, and his expressive and slightly oversized green eyes seem to take in the world. As a Lynx, he appears much as others of his kind, though maybe a bit bigger.

Personality: Jolly and helpful, Happy Jack is well known among the downtrodden and homeless of the city. He brings food to those no longer able to get around on their own, and has been known to sneak into hospitals to steal the medicines they need. Where others would take advantage, Jack only strives to help, and though he has never asked for it, the lower ranks of the city hold them as their hero in many respects. He is a consummate thief, and a deadly serious poker player, but can’t resist cracking a joke if he feels it is appropriate, or just to lighten the mood. He harbors no ill will toward the other immortals in the city, even the Vampires, though he wishes they would be a bit more restrained in their feeding. He had lived his long life seeking balance with those around him, and is more than willing to work with anyone to that end. When angered however, he is more than able to use those wide-set claws and jutting teeth to do some serious damage!

Interesting fact: Though he doesn’t know it himself, his way of thinking, his struggle for pure neutrality, has given him a great amount of resistance to the charms and wiles of those that would sway him. He is nearly immune to hypnosis, and can only be mentally contacted by others if he reaches out for them first. This oddity of the mind has baffled many that tried to alter his views or perceptions, and it often proved to be a fatal mistake. While he is willing to work with others, he does not like being lied to or deceived in any way. Such actions invariable cause him to snub the person or creature, and may invoke his wrath, depending on the situation.

(More Lycans are always welcome :) hehe more writers in general are welcome. What i seen of your work in Blood and bullets, very creative.)

ooc: Well alrighty then! :cathappy: Thank you very kindly PredatorX, and lets see what I can do to keep up the illusions you so obviously have failed to pierce!

IC: The streets were busy lately… There were new scents on the night air, and everywhere was the iron-rich tang of freshly-spilt blood. There were new teeth in town, and they were making things difficult. Bodies, several of them his friends, were being found all over town, and it wouldn’t be long before the humans began hunting for the real source of these attacks. Such a search would invariable reveal more than anyone wanted known, including him, so he must find them, reason with them. The balance must be maintained.

He crept from the alley he had been sleeping in, waving at Alice and Cid on their park bench as he passed them, and tossed Joey what remained of the burger he had managed to buy with his panhandling money yesterday. That poor kid was as skinny as a rake and needed the meat much worse than the Werecat did anyway. These were his friends, the true heart of the city, and he knew most of them by name, just as they knew him. Several of those gathered hereabouts even knew exactly what he was, but they just didn’t seem to care. He was their savior, the strong claw in the shadows that would fight for them, would help them… He let them think that if they wanted.

He liked this city, there was a mystique to its twisting streets, its dank and fetid history, but there were times, especially times like this when he was about to face the unknown, that he longed for the simple freedoms of the distant tundra. He could almost feel the wild winds, smell the tender grasses peeking out of the thaw in the springtime… He shook his head, clearing it of that sweet distraction, and headed into the center of the city, hunting those responsible for this bloodbath…

Ryanna walked down the street back towards her appartment. Not long after she started, she spotted a strange man walking on the other side of the street. As she walks, she snuck covert glances at him from the corner of her eye. Ryanna couldn't make out make out any of his features. All she could tell, was that he was shorter than herself. She walked on, keeping an eye on him out of habit.

The creature known as Happy Jack plodded slowly through the darked streets of the Lost City, his keen nose sifting through the miriad scents of the inner city to catch the faint metallic tang of blood that seemed to be hidden everywhere these days. To a casual observer, he was just another homeless bum wandering the streets aimlessly, perhaps seeking some cozy shadow in which to spend the night. To any who studied him, to any with the same keen senses that he possessed, it became quickly apparent that he was following a blood trail that was quickly growing cold.

He visited the various spots where his friends, the surprisingly well informed "forgotten homeless" had told him the bodies had been found, snuffling around the dusty shadows to find any trace of the attacker, seeking any clue to their location or likely courses of action. His wanderings covered a large area, taking far longer than he wished, but he did discover a few things...

There had always been a few attacks here, the local vampires drawing from the thriving human community to survive, but a fatality was rare, and bodies even more so. These newcomers, and he did determine that there was more than one, seemed to care little for the fact that they had to live in the squalor they were producing, ignoring the fact that there were others that might suffer from the repercussions of their actions. They were like careless teenagers, throwing their empty wrappers on the floor of their room without a care as to how deep they piled up, or how many rodents and insects the mess might attract.

He found that most of the strikes were far spread, were single individuals, alone, and easily maneuvered. There was a stretch, however, of only last night, where several people had died in a row, all in a single area, as if the attacker had simply moved from one to the next. This was far from a normal feeding... this was rage. By the scent traces at each location, those that hadn't been destroyed by the blundering cops, he was able to determine that the largest percentage of the kills were done by two Vampires, female, if his nose wasn't losing it's touch. He was able to trace the unique markers for each of them, filing them away for identification, and ascertain exactly which was responsible for what. He could tell, for instance, that they seemed to work together, but that one favored the other for the kills. He saw the evidence of a truly brutal and savage attack, worthy of the claws of a Lycan, but marked with the scent of only one of his hunters, signaling a need for release. It was the bevy of kills in the single area that puzzled him most, however. The scent trail revealed one of his hunters, but seemed to fade at some, while grew at others... curious.

Eventually, after a long and tiring night of wandering, the old Lynx found himself standing in the alley beside one of the hotspots of the city. He caught the scent of several other immortals, both Lycan and Vampire, both around and from the structure, and could smell the tinge of ozone and spices, that odd combination that had always signalled recent magical energies. The streets were busy indeed...

Suddenly, without changing his demeanor at all, or even looking up, he spoke to the creature that had been trailing him most of the night, saying "You might as well come on out miss, I ain't gonna get any younger waitin for ya."

As she walked behind the stranger, Ryanna first thought he was lost. Soon though, she caught the faint smell of blood, very faint. Once she caught it, Rya discovered that the man was following it. ‘So, he’s not human,’ She thought, ‘this could be interesting.’

Ryanna backed off a bit and began following him. She treaded lightly, making no sound. He led her on a merry romp around the city. As the night grew late, they ended up near the night club. Rya was still mulling over the scents she had just encountered while following the man and trail.

"You might as well come on out miss, I ain't gonna get any younger waitin' for ya."

Ryanna jumped at the gruff voice then froze, wondering how long he had known she was following. She let out a quiet sigh and stepped out from the dumpster she had been behind. “I guess you aren’t, though neither am I.” She said with a small smile.

Betrayal

How that word seemed to stick in Garnets mind as she felt Talia's thoughts. How strange of her to use such a word. She wasn't afraid of Hunters. She knew of only one and her activity lately had seemed quelled.

Her body undulated with the music. Oh how she had loved to dance! But that was before her magic, her heavy dependence on it. She closed her eyes and let her mind work with the music. Soon it was apparent her charms had unknowingly affected every male in the club......and she was only brought out of her stupor by several rude calls of other females who were mad at their dates. She shrugged it off and hesitently returned to Talia.

Power. Talia had mentioned it. It was only now becoming apparent to Garnet just how much Power she might have, and she had not yet even tested the waters.

I smirked as Garnet returned to my side, and I softly stroked her cheek, gazing into her eyes.

*Yes, you have great power. Now, you need to focus it. What you did to every man in the bar .. you must learn to do that to an individual. Make him .. or her .. yours. I believe that you will be quite irresistable .. if you can become subtle enough."

I was allowing my mind to softy overlay her natural magnetism, allowing the club to slowly return to normalcy. I smiled slightly, running a hand through her hair.

"What can I get you to drink," I asked quietly, as I nodded in the direction of the bar.

*It is best if you are seen drinking something even if you no longer have a taste for anything but blood. If you are truely thirsty, I can help you select a suitable victim.*

(Here ya go sweety, a short one! Lol)

With a wry smile, he turned to face her. Lycan, as he was, her movements and scent marking her as feline... Tiger to be exact, she was a little slip of a thing, and carried herself with a solid confidence, something he found refreshing in this age of uncertainty.

"Been a busy week." he said flatly, knowing she could smell the blood as easily as he did. "So many new people recently... people that don't know the rules yet. You wouldn't happen to know anything about these new people, now would you?" He had been walking toward her as he spoke, circling her slender form in the dark, and ended his meandering by stepping close, and drawing her scent deeply into his nostrils.

Standing so close, her scent filling his senses, he found himself suddenly distracted from his hunt. She was younger than him, probably by quite a bit, but quite pretty, and she was the only Cat that the being known as Happy Jack had found in quite a while…

"Coke and Rum" she said absently.

She felt Talia's fingers running through her hair but didn't shy away from it. It was oddly comforting, and she hated the fact that she just might, might start to like this...this vampire who had made her.

Talia had mentioned truely thirsty. It was true, the vampire inside her wanted blood, wanted to be fed. But she couldn't stomach it yet. No, she would wait untill later, when she was truely hungry to dare to do that again.

I smiled very softly.

"Good choice. Two, please."

*You will give in, sooner or later. You will soon enough leave behind your weak, human concern for the life and well-being of your human victims. Mind, you do not need to destroy to feed .. if this makes it easier for you to wrap your still-too human brain around the idea.*

It was a wonderful feeling, a mind so powerful and transparent. Despite my council, I actually found her lingering concern refreshing. All too many of my 'children' in the past had taken to their vampiric life with too-great relish, draining and destroying far too many too quickly. Garnet's lingering concern, combined with her great power, indicated to me that she might well make a good Duchess or Baroness one day .. perhaps even we could rule this city together .. it was an exhilarating concept, and without entirely realizing that I was doing it, I edged a little closer to her, placing my hand softly upon her back. I could sense disappointment eminating from behind us, and I turned .. a handsome man, dark-haired, with clear and brilliant eyes, was watching us, or really Garnet, and I could feel that disappointment, regret, radiating out from him like light.

I smiled softly to him, and gave an encouraging wink. Garnet may not desire to feed, but for her, for us both, this was an opportunity too great to pass up.

I turned back to Garnet, leaning in close.

"You have an admirer," I whispered into her ear, gently smoothing her hair back .. and ensuring that he was watching, gave her earlobe a soft kiss .. pulling back slightly, resting my head lightly on her shoulder, I glanced back to him again with a small smile .. then turned back around to my drink ....
