Lost in Space: IC

Dr. Asma Fabis

Asma certainly remarked the tension between the men and the younger woman. They seemed to know each other, so she decided to keep out of their conflicts. She heard the sound of brawling nearby, and that was something that could not be ignored. "That sounds like trouble." she said. She took the flashlight and walked carefully into the direction of the fight.

Jake Anastasio

OOC: My posts are going to be different from now on.

Jake tried speaking and found he could move his jaw, but it was still painful to do so. He had probably bruised it of just banged it up a little. His nose was a mess and it did bleed, bu like all head injuries, it would bleed a lot. Jake took a breath to clam himself and to clear is senses.

He looked up at Leo, answering in a low but surprised voice saying, "I`m headed off to the generator room. I`m tired of all of this dark and I need some light. If you wanted to come along, you could have just asked instead of tripping me."

Jake was still thinking about the flashback he had seen. What had that been about? Why was he in Russia? These flashbacks were confusing to Jake and he was still unable to focus completely on them. God, when did the side effects wear off?

Jake decided to deal with those questions later. Right now he had to deal with the present, here and now. Why had this man tripped him instead of simply asking what he was up to? Why was it that everyone else seemed to hate or distrust him, except for Asma? He hadn`t done anything to them, at least not that he could remember. He had treated them with every respect that he had expected to recieve.

Jake felt that he wouldn`t be able to Leo, Gabriel, or the new girl. All he had left to trust was Asma.

Jake wondered if he would be able to get to that generator room and get some power to this place.

Jake looked back at Leo waiting to see if he would let him up.

Dr. Asma Fabis

"What is the meanig of this?!" she looked down in disgust what looked like the result of a brawl to her. "Don't we have problems enough that you have to beat up each other?"

Gabriel Thorn

"And they were down to two"

Hunting around he found the knives and used one to cut the sleeves from his overall and after tying close the sleeves he filled them with water and some of the food. Hefting the improvised bags he motioned for Angel.

"Let's go check if anybody have realized that we should actually stick together"

Leo Storm

Leo kept the pressure on. He didn't quite trust the man who just tried abandoning the group. If you wish to be technical, Leo did leave, but he had every intention of going back. The way he say things, there are two options. One, let the man go and see how things turn out. And two, take control himself to prevent this from happening again. He had no desire for command at the moment, so he went with option one. Disregarding Dr. Fabis, he removed his boot from the man and held his hand down to help him up. He looked at him calmly.

"Stay with the group." was all he said.

He turned back to go down the hallway, and walked by Asma without a word. He didn't like civilians. He stepped into the room with Angel and Gabriel.

"Always that one soldier." That messes everything up.

He shook his head at his uncompleted sentence. He was fairly sure they got what he meant, though.

Angel Raven

Angel muttered something under her breath. He was really getting on her nerves. First he says they need to stick together, then he runs off on his own. She looked up.

Anyone for a mutiny? she thought to herself.

She had just the strangest feeling they wouldn't get anywhere at all with him in command. How exactly he made it to Captain was beyond her.

How Lt. Storm didn't make it past Lieutenant was also beyond her.

She glanced over at Gabriel and nodded. Might as well find out what's going on in the halls. She moved to the door and almost bumped into Lt. Storm. She skirted back.

"Sorry." she murmured.

And she did indeed know what the end of that sentence was.

"So now what?" she asked the two of them.

Gabriel Thorn

"Well actually I think the Captain had a good idea to get the power activated"

He look from one to the other

"I know we don't think much of him at the moment, but I want to see what is going on around me and get a weapon in my hands"

He fixed Leo with a grin

"And something tells me that you have found a route to get us to just such a place or you wouldn't have come back"

Jake Anastasio

Jake was in disbelief, he had never seen such disrespect! When he was in the Marines his fellow troops always listened to him, and even if they didn`t agree with him, they didn`t show rude behavior that these people were showing.

Jake took Leo`s hand and got up to him feet. As Leo walked away, Jake went over to Asma, "I don`t like the others here. I sense that there|ll be trouble in the future." He smiled at her, "Your the only one I can trust right now and I need someone on my side. Leo here is something else, he`s stronger than me and if he wanted to, he could kill me."

Dr. Asma Fabis

"You are injured. We should get back to the others, because I am not such a help in medicine. " she was sure that the soldiers werebetter trained to give first aid. "I don't know any one of you here, but this violence and tension worries me." She didn't want to get to personal, although the outbreak of violence by the other man startled her, so her sympathies were more with Jake.

Jake Anastasio

Jake smiled at Asma and said, "I`m fine, just a bloody nose and sore jaw." Jake followed Asma back to the group.

Jake walked back into the kitchen and started gathering up more food and water into a cardboard box found in a corner.

Gabriel Thorn

He looked at Jake and Asma as they also came in, then Jake started to gather more food and water in a box, he frowned.

"Uhm excuse me Cap'n, do you really think a box is an appropriate choice to carry those stuff in? I'm sure that we would be able to get a backpack in the armory and then we can carry even more."

He shrugged,

"I guess having a tendency to carry a weapon makes me not want to tie up more than one hand,"

He chuckled at his own remark and tied his improvised bags together and slung it over his shoulder.

"Right I'm guessing that Lieutenant Storm and Captain Anastasio found where we can get our lights back,"

He looked around at their little group,

"Don't know about you guys, but I am kinda ready to get going."

Dr. Asma Fabis

Asma took great care to renember the way and the map. She hoped that they were not really in space, but just in a strange building or a ship on the ground. Still, she wondered why anyone should be interested to take her there. She had no connection twith the others. She didn't bother to carry any water or food - with the map she should be able to find this place again.

Angel Raven

Angel watched as the man entered the room. His nose was still bleeding, and she was curious why he hadn't bothered to fix it. She glanced over at the El-Tee. He was the only one capable of doing that out of the three of them, so she assumed he had a reason for it. He always did. She walked over to Jake and pushed him back against the wall, showing a strength not oblivious by her size. She looked at his wounds, then opened her medkit to clean the wound. The blood had already clotted, so it wasn't bleeding any more than that. She leaned up to whisper in his ear:

"You know he didn't intend to hurt you. You were being suspicious, is all."

With that she back away from him to stand between the two other men.

Jake Anastasio

When The new girl came up t him and pushed him against the wall, he half expected to be beaten up again. Dammit where these people planning on killing him? He was surprised however when, instead of hitting him, she actually started treating his injury. Suddenly another flashback came to him.

The Russian was standing over him with his pistol aimed at Jake`s head. Then suddenly one of his team members, Ashley, knock the Russian over. As Jake got up, he saw her shot the Russian in the chest. She got up and walked over to Jake, "Lucky I was around captain, another second and you would`ve been dead." She reached up to his face and whispered, "That communist pig must have knocked you down bad, your scalp is bleeding a little, but nothing too bad." "Come on we`ve got to stop those ICBMs before it`s too late."

Jake came back to the present and looked around. Then he shook his head and continued collecting anything else they woud need.

Leo Storm

"I thought much the same." he said in reply to Gabriel's comment about the generator. He didn't like Jake all that much, but he was sure that getting the generator up was a good idea. He would deal with personal problems later. They couldn't be allowed to interfere with the mission.

Leo stepped out of the way as Asma and Jake entered the room. Leo turned and picked up a couple bags still lying on the ground near Gabriel. He had indeed found somewhere. If there were weapons on board, he would assume they would be in the security room. Once they got the generators up and running, it should open the door to the security room as well as reactivate the electronics in the room so he could see about why they were here. Leo looked over to Jake, and let him do the talking. Leo had always been one for actions, not words. He found himself agreeing with Gabriel. He wanted to get moving. They had wasted enough time already.

Dr. Asma Fabis

Asma decided to stay with the group, what else could she do? If they would go on to search for the generator, she would join them. She looked at Jake and at Leo, saying nothing.

Jake Anastasio

Jake followed the group, carrying the box of food and water with him. He kept an eye on everyone, except Asma, in case on of them decided to attack him again.

He thought over what the flashbacks had meant. Why had he really been in Russia? What were ICBMs doing being launched? Had there been a WWIII?

Jake sighed and walked on, reluctantly following the others.

Gabriel Thorn

He followed Leo and Angel, feeling that he has been in this situation...

Thunder cracked overhead, there was no rain, but the heavy clouds seemed like it would crack open and pour it's contents on them at any given second. It was as dark as the armpit of hell and the only way they could find where they were going was the night vision goggles each of them carried, along with the gear they seemed like creatures from outer space.

He shook his head to clear away the images and was it his imagination or was there a lingering of the thunder?

Dr. Asma Fabis

Asma said nothing and walked along with them. She didn't like the place, wasn't very happy about her companions, and was not very fond of the suit - she wondered if they were unisize, because she found it tighter then she appreciated. Asking this soldiers would get her no results. She kept her eyes open and used the flashnight if necessary. Even if this ship was big, it shouldn't be that difficulöt to find the generator after seeing the map.

Jake Anastasio

Jake hurried you to the others and asked, "Where are we going to drop off the supplies. At the cryo room or the generator room?"

Gabriel Thorn

"Well I'd rather place provisions where we find weapons and armor, it's best to have your food with a defensible space,"

He grinned.

Dr. Asma Fabis

"Weapons and armor? Who do you expect? We rather die of thirst, if you don't bash up each other."

Gabriel Thorn

He glanced at her, what was her problem,

"Yes weapons and armor along with provisions. I'm locked in a place that I know nothing about, with people whom I can only recognize two of. I want to secure my area, that is just basic survival."

Dr. Asma Fabis

Asma answered nothing. Maybe this soldiers could not imagine that there were other problems then supposed enemies everywhere. She was more used with problems regarding supplies, funds and cooperation. Again she wondered why she was among those others. So she just kept walking, checking the next room.
