LUNAR: Silver Star Story Complete

Jessica 'eep'ed with surprise as Hiro lifted her and Nash together. It took a moment for her to regain herself, but surely enough she nodded and complied with the warrior.

"That way," she said, pointing to their destination.

Hiro

He ran with all his might.

*A few moments later*

The Tower was less than a few hundred yards away. His spells began to wear off, but he was able to get them inside.

A priest stopped him. "None shall pass without permission or without being a priest/priestess."

"She is one! Let her pass, we have a very injured friend.

"All right, but you stay put young man."

So he just waited there while Jessica and Nash went on in.

Jessica was reluctant to leave Hiro behind, but being with Nash in his current state, she didn't have time to protest.

Jessica entered the Goddess Tower and quickly made her way to the head priestess.

Hiro

He began to pace back and forth, worried about Nash.

A preistess came up to him and asked if he needed anything. He asked her if she had any water or biscuts. She said they had both. He asked for it, and she went to get them.

*Upon Jess' arrival, the high preistess was quite shocked to see that there was a half dead body now at her feet. She understood her mission, and quickly began to cast her healing spells. They eventually worked, for Nash opened his eyes, he was still terribly, terribly weak from the magic attack by Ghaleon, but he would survive.*

Adding a bit to your post, Indalecio, hope you don't mind.

Jessica made her way to the High Priestess's quarters, entering without any of the usual announcements.

The High Priestess turned to the girl with slight surprise at her bold enterance, but then shifted her attention to the injuried boy that layed in her arms.

"He needs your help," Jessica explained. "You're the only one who can save him."

"Lay him there," the High Priestess commanded in a soft voice, pointing to a small couch.

Jessica did as told, stepping back as Nash was set in a laying position. The High Priestess approached the already colding body and placed her hands upon his chest. She began to chant in an almost musical voice.

Jessica watched, biting down on her lip gently with worry, hoping that the High Priestess's magic would be enough to recover her fallen friend.

Nash weakly opened his eyes, coughing lightly and the pain he still felt was obvious.

"Nash, are you alright?" Jessica asked, approaching him.

Hiro

He hoped that Nash was ok, and that Jessica was holding up. They were the only people he knew back in this era.

He closed his eyes, thinking about what transpired to his arriving here.

It was the second week that he had been living on the Blue Star with Lucia. Things were going great, Zophar and Ghalleon were defeated, and he was with his love. Then it happened..... the sky went black. He turned around to ask what was happening when he noticed crimson blossoming from her chest. When he looked behind her, that's when he saw Ghalleon, his sword rammed through her heart. Enraged he leapt onto Ghalleon. Because he revived himself using the last of the powers he siphoned from Zophar, he was weaker than when they did battle. Wrestling the sword from his grasp, he turned the black blade upon the mage and slammed it into his even blacker heart. With Galleon's dying breath, he tore open a portal and sent him here.

So caught up in the memory, he didn't notice Jessica till she tapped him on the shoulder. He jumped, but soon calmed down from the sudden shock.

"Is he ok? Did he make it?"

"Yes, Nash is fine. He's resting inside," she informed Hiro in a soft voice.

She tilted her head slightly to the side, looking into Hiro's eyes. "But are you alright?" she asked.

"Not really.... just remembering a painful memory. So..... anything that you would like to know about me.... after all, you have no reason to trust me?"

He really wanted to change the subject, he would mourn when it was safe to do so. Right now, he had to get adjusted and make as many new friends as possible.

"You're right. I have no reason to trust you. But I just have a feeling about you..."

Jessica smiled softly.

"You can tell me as much about yourself as you are comfortable doing. I don't wish to pry."

Hiro

"You might want to sit, cause it will be a long story." Grins.

He then began to tell her about his world, and the adventure he went on. About his crazy friends, and the great evil known as Zophar. He even told her about what had happen to his love Lucia.

"And that is my story. I know a lot about the past... I mean your present from the books in the Vane library. About the life of Alex, Luna, Nash, Mia, Kyle and yourself. All about your lives. What wasn't written down we found out on our adventure or from Nall. Is there anything inperticular that you would like to know about?"

"Yeah," Jessica smiled at the opportunity to learn more about herself. Anymore she wasn't sure about who she was or what she was going to do with her life.

"Be my fortune teller. What did I accomplish in life?"

"Well... you became known as the Mother of Meriba. When you returned to your father, you brought with you a husband. Mel immediatly took a liking to him, and threw you both the largest wedding in history.... well.... at that time that is." He enjoyed her laughter when he told her that. "You both had a large, happy family, and when Hell Mel passed on, you became a great leader, building up trade, education, and eliminating poverty in your city."

He waited for that to sink in before he continued.

"Who was my husband?" she asked, the taste at the glimpse of her future getting to her. It was shocking to her that her father would ever even take her back -- she must've had one damn fine beau to accomplish that.

"That's the weirdest thing.... whenever I tried to find his name in the history logs, he wasn't there. I even asked Nall about him, but he would always change the subject whenever I brought it up. Oh well.... guess some things your going to have to find out on your own. Maybe it was Kyle?"

He was guessing, since little was know about Kyle, since no one keeps track of a theif.

"I don't think I would be able to win over my father with Kyle by my side," Jessica answered honestly. "It'll be interesting to find out who this mystery man is."

Jessica smiled softly and looked to the sky, her mind wandering over the idea that Hiro had just presented her. She wondered who this man could be, and only a couple of people came to mind.

For a moment she toyed with the thought of it being Ghaleon -- deep inside she had always loved him, although his bitter ideals forced her to kill him once before. She would understand why his name would never be put into the books... And her father still trusted the man with all of his being. But Jessica couldn't think of how or why this would ever happen.

Perhaps it could be Hiro? He was a nice person, and surely Hell Mel would like him. But why wouldn't his name ever be published? Would he want it that way because of his future life?

Jessica had honestly always seen herself at one time or another with Nash. But she couldn't make any connection as to why his name wouldn't be mentioned.

"What about Nash? What's his future like?" she asked with curiousity.

"He is remarkable! He became the new premier of the Magic Guild, surpassing even Ghaleon. Loved by all, he will be a great husband, father, and leader. He and Mia would become the most loving couple ever, although.... these events that have been happening were never mention. Maybe they were lost.... I don't know, all I'm saying is I have to make sure you future and my past remain on track. If not the percussions of these events would be catostrophic. I don't know what his relationship with Mia is right now, but I know that they are in love.... they will be married for 57 years befored they finally pass away in bed in each other's arms. So many romance legends are about those two."

"That's so sweet!" Jessica smiled, but she couldn't help but feel a little bit jealous of their love. Seemed her life of romance was nothing but a disaster.

"What about Alex and Luna?"

"Lived out the rest of their lives in Burg. Don't know if they had any children or not, but we did get to see a hologram of an older Luna on our journey, she gave us information and hope when she left her message to Lucia in the Goddess Tower. From the way she talked they loved one another very much."

Yawns, then looks outside. "I've been talking for hours, you must have wanted to go into a coma from the sheer boredom of it all," he chuckles.

"Oh, it's not boring at all! I'm enjoying myself very much... I'm surprised you don't mind rambling off what you've learned in your history books." Jessica smiled warmly.

"So was there anything in the books about Kyle?"

"It doesn't matter, he needs to shut up right now..."

Nash walked up to the two, still very weak, he refused any further healing after he had the power to stand up for himself. The magician looked over to Jessica, and then to Hiro, a growl at Hiro, a few bolts still cackling at his finger tips.

"You need to shut the hell up, telling us about our futures will cause various time paradoxes, hell, by knowing that I am going to marry Mia now, I might just not. Theres a very slim chance of Jess returning with Mel with the relationship she's been having with him. And you need to get back to your own damn time. We can handle Ghaleon."

Hiro

Nash was right, Hiro didn't have the right to be telling them their futures. He didn't even know why he was saying so....

"Your right Nash, and I am sorry... for everything."

He stood up and went to the door.

"But know this.... certain things are falling into place in this time line that I am now a part of that makeup my own. Ghaleon will die..... maybe not by my hands, but he will die. But don't upset about that..... he'll be revived in about a thousand years."

He turned an walked out into the refreshing night air. He thought.... and he thought..... and he thought. Isn't my being here a paradox? I'm living 1000 years before I'm even born! And another thing..... even though I told them their futures, why am I still here.... that alone should've changed the history that will become my future. He didn't know, he didn't want to come here..... but whatever power it be..... fate, destiny, or something no mere mortal can even begin to phantom, he was sent here.... to make sure that everything goes ok.

He sighed.... it was all so tiring..... right now, he would settle for a warm bed.

Jessica looked to her upset friend as he told Hiro off for answering her questions. She then noted that the boy from the future stepped outside.

"Nash...he was just answering my questions," she calmly tried to ease the boy's mind. She stood straight and walked to the mage.

"It'll all be alright with time."

Jessica smiled and put Nash's arm about her shoulders, so that she could aid him in walking.

"We should all just go to the inn and get a good nights rest."

Hiro

He heard footsteps behind him. When he turned around, he saw Jessica helping Nash by bracing him on her shoulder. Nash was still glaring at him like he had contacted some fatal plague or something.

"So..... where to? I don't know the lay of the land in this time, so I don't know where an inn is. I'll pay for the rooms."
