Settling lawsuits is NOT an admission of guilt. At most, it's akin to one party saying he or she or they feel it's not worth pursuing. Besides, these would be civil matters rather than criminal. I have never heard of Mueller being referred to as "The Mule" either. I just made it up. Except for on this site, I have also never heard or read of the president of the United States being referred to in such an insulting way.

Trump is an international businessman who has often dealt with foreign and domestic governments in the normal course of business. That is not what the emoluments clause is about. It is intended to prevent government officials from accepting bribes, the way HRC did as Sec. of State.
