Ok so im a fairly normal 26 year old straight male. I've been with the same girl for over 6 years now and things are getting a little dull. Im very open and she is the complete opposite.

It's too bad your gal is not into it, or I would suggest as strap-on for her. But since she isn't I would start with butt plugs and anal beads for beginners. For men, the male prostate is a big erogenous zone, so anything that stimulates that area is great. Usually those toys will have a curve to reach the P-spot well, like the Aneros, Rude Boy and other prostate stimulators.

Always us lots of lube. Silicone is better than water-based for anal play as it is more slippery and will last longer.

Don't use anything that is not made for anal play and make sure it has a flared based, or retrieval hoop so it doesn't slide in too far.

With plugs, you just have to wear them for an extended period and they will stimulate the anus. With prostate stimulators you can rub them gently against the prostate, and with anal probes, you can penetrate in & out.

My top tip is think about putting a condom over any toys. It makes cleaning them a whole lot easier.
