It lasts until the second to last weekend in October That weekend they call the "day of wrong" and people will wear all sorts of costumes that are not period a appropriate lol

Years ago I went as a court jester. My costume was period appropriate but, apparently, not "family" appropriate...the jester jewels were too obvious through my tights. I was asked to cover them up.

No one seemed offended by the wenches serving beer and popping nipples when they bench over.

Speaking of Japan, my bestie and I making plans of going. She's actually a bit of a prude, so I kind of want to plan to go when its happening and record her reaction to be surrounded by penises XD
