It's been a number of years but one place I use to go to was along the C&P Canal outside the Little Orleans campground. Some friends would meet there and we'd go to the Potomac River and do some nude rafting, etc.

There were a few other out of the way places we'd meet in western MD but they had no name...just spots we find at the moment.

I remain alive...

I accepted an offer on my house last week. It's not nearly what I needed, but the guy buying the place is keeping some features that the realtor told me to get rid of. The buyer is a Marylander... he understands.

More importantly, it means that I'll be moving in August and my ex and I will make our divorce formal and final. Time to start the next phase of my life.

Dating this year has not been... ideal. A bunch of mediocre conversations online and reconnected with a girl I went on a few dates with last year. I expressed interest, but she said she can only offer friendship, which is fine. I'd just appreciate if she didn't constantly compliments me, invite me on trips, and have me over to meet hey family. :: sigh ::

And my favorite bar closed.

Now, where does one meet the love of his life and / or have the night of his life to blow off steam?

Once you move check out the local grocery stores, ?-Marts, wherever people congregate. You'll be surprised who you'll meet. Night life...there's more out there than just the bar scene. good luck.

I guess I've gone to the wrong ones... I haven't met anyone yet! Lol..
Then again I haven't really tried either.

On a happier note, I loved the cooler temps today!

Today was perfect. Great breeze, overcast skies, and just about 80. Loved it

It's simply a matter of exploration and gauging the store(s) clientel...easier said than done, I know. But I always had fun just looking.

The cooler weather may help bring folks out.
 
In the low 60s out there right now, enjoying the sunrise while sitting on my deck. Gonna be a yard work day I think, as soon as the dew dries up some. This is how summer should be, cool, clear, with a slight breeze :)

very much so, would be quite the chill right now though hah. Few clouds have come over the mountains but nothing to write home about as of yet.

I haven't, though I'm not opposed to the idea. I was propositioned once, but not by my preferred demographic, so I politely declined. I'm very open to meeting someone that I could have a strong intellectual connection with.
 
I havent either, though definitely would be fun I think. There are quite a few of us in this thread that have posted, surely there would be matches between some
 
end of the week bump, we are in for a TON of rain. 3-5" over the next couple of days. Everyone stay safe in all the flooding
