Maryland is for lovers?

Hey based, just having a quiet weekend at home inside. They actually closed the pool at the local Y because it was too hot, apparently 2 lifeguards passed out.

I'm late to the convo on your dating question but why not go on a few more dates and see what happens, worst case is you've spent a few hours figuring out its going nowhere. If you have the free time and can find things to do together you enjoy, maybe she's not the one but maybe you'll make a new friend.

Just to be clear, the question posed was not about me or my situation. I have seen her and I would definitely give her several dates to see if any chemistry built.

Dating today is so much different than dating in the past. While the internet has broadened the pool of potential dates it has also made that pool much shallower since with so many potential dates it is easy to just dump a so so first date because there is probably another date with someone else already in the works.

With so many people dating through dating apps I also believe most first dates are more like blind dates since you really don't know who is going to show up. Pictures are not always true and chat can only reveal superficial info in my opinion.

I had to work Saturday morning but went to a pool party Saturday evening. The pool water was like a warm bath. Kind of weird to jump in the water and not feel even a hint of the cold water shock. I did do some yard work today and surprise surprise, I played 9 holes of golf this evening. Lol.

Looking forward to some cooler temps. Still hot and muggy out this evening though.
 
I believe there are free potatoes on 270 this morning to be had. Seems a truck carrying potatoes dumped a whole load of them on the road. Good thing it was not a truck carrying sex toys or there would be pandemonium this morning. :)
 
Something must be going on with nobody posting. My invitation must have gotten lost in the mail. :)

Skinny dipping?!? I am sure that got people's attention. Along those lines, anyone have a good place for skinny dipping and/or sexy vacation plans?
We are headed to Ocean City in August, but I am not sure how sexy it will get ... kids going too.

I see posts all the time on swinger sites from singles and couples looking to hook up in Ocean City, so there must be action to be had there, but in the middle of summer, with kids in tow, one's best bet may be to ogle the scantily clad breasts, asses and genitalia of the gals and guys (depending on your preference) on the beach . . . .

Luckily, the kids are old enough to be left alone for some time. Fingers crossed!
 
It has been quite a while since I last went skinny dipping. As spurtman said, other than watching the bathing beauties on the beach I would head over to Secrets. Mostly young people there but there is an outside bar on the beach, can sit in the water at tables and drink till you float away and there is a dance floor inside so lots of different things to do. Harpoon Hanna's is a good dock bar but that is more for drinks/conversation with someone. Back in the day I use to rent a beach house in Dewey for the summer with a bunch at buddies. That was always a wild time there. I believe the bottle&cork is still there. Enjoy your trip to OC.

El has got that damn boyfriend so she keeps turning me down for everything. :)
