Good Morning Friends!
Hope everyone is doing exactly what they want to be doing. Me, I'm still in bed...or should I say I went back to bed. I got up early, had my coffee, now I'm bored. Hubby left with the dogs. Took them to run in a nearby park. It appears they too have cabin fever.
God, I long for warm, sun filled days. Days that I could just sit on my deck & read, enjoying the good smelling breezes that are always there in early spring. I wish to see those first few green blades of grass peeking out of the ground, those first few early spring flowers peeking from under the snow.
Mmm sounds like I have the fever bad myself...
As I sit here writing this, I wonder whats the first thing I'll wanna do on that first warm day with temps. above 45. Will I want to wash my car? Clean the yard up(if I can ever get rid of this damn snow) or just go for a drive? Nah, me..I'll still take that book on my deck anyday.
Okay, I have rambled enough this morning, I'll not subject you all to anymore of my useless dribble.

Ramble some more. I had forgotten about the small blades of grass that peek through the brown ground. What a beautiful sight that will be! I will look forward to the first instant when someone rolls down their car window and blasts their stereo. It'll be good to hear the natural sounds, too.

I hope everyone's having a great evening. Just came back from dinner at On the Border. Going to relax tonight with some videos.

I'm out of the pix tomorrow...big day and a houseful of people celebrating my son's confirmation, and then I have to split for DC as soon as I can boot the last guest out the door, or maybe sooner!
SO, I have to miss Jeff starting second! And I have to miss the only time they race at Las Vegas, and I have to miss my time with you (again!!!)
GEEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be back late Tuesday or early Wednesday, sorry to miss watching the race with you.
Oh, and T-Bone??? Congrats about Bobby on the pole! Guess the car switch wasn't a bad idea after all...and everyone thought Joe Gibbs was crazy!

Well Princess, had my evening been anything like what you might imagine, I too would be grinning but alas it was not so. I ended up hanging out with a friend of mine and her boyfriend as basically a third wheel... She had told me we'd be hanging out with more people (preferably female haha) but they were busy... Kind of sucks but doesn't really matter because most girls my age and at this stage of college have boyfriends and have had them for a good amount of time. Anyway, I didn't come home that late and I did check in but I didn't know what to say so I didn't. That was last night and tonight I just watched movies, Hook and America's Sweethearts (good movie, hadn't seen it before). Pretty boring...

I second that, I am sick of winter now and just want the warm weather to return and the sun to shine with some strength. Snow sucks...

Thanks Jack...I get caught up and keep going...grateful I can do all the things that I do.
My thoughts go out to one of my employees who was burned out of her home this past Tuesday. Two of the three people that committed the arson that burned down 30 apartments turned out to be my students. Breaks my heart. My employee and her family lost everything except what they wore to work and school that day. I started a clothing, household goods, and money drive for her. The response was so wonderful on Thursday, I was reduced to tears twice, once when someone who manages a school on the other side of the county and doesn't know my employee challenged her staff to donate money and that she would match whatever amount they came up with.
Truly, this is a wonderful place, this state of Maryland, where people care so much!

Wow, just when you think the whole worlds gone to hell you've got people out there that respond with such kindness that you know for every once of bad there is out there, there's a gallon of good.

It's a random thing. Weekdays seem to be better for posting than some weekends. And it's true, BethAnne does draw a crowd.
