Hi Princess! I'm doing just fine this evening, I was watching the Final Four games tonight. Kansas beat Marquette in a huge blow out so that game wasn't too good but the Texas Syracuse game was really good. Syracuse won. Should be a really good championship game between Kansas and Syracuse.

And about my dates, I just threw those out there because its the first weekend I can see that I could do something but anything after that should be pretty good provided that I know about it in advance and don't make any other commitments. So May would be fine too as long as its not May 16 or 17 because that's the weekend before my Final exams.

Have a very good evening everyone, I've got a pretty early start tomorrow so I'm going to try to get some rest. Night :cool:

Looks like a consensus if forming around Friday, May 2 or Friday, May 9...again, based on past info, Inner Harbor seems to be most central, unless somewhere somewhat south is also do-able (that would help accommodate our Virginia neighbors)...I'll start researching locations, but if you have ideas throw 'em out here!

First weekend would work, I think a friend has a bridal shower the second weekend - that's May. April 25/26 would work for me, too, like MoZ.

Smiles at everyone.... Hope everyone is enjoying thier Sunday. At least we are having a lot of sunshine today, even though it is quit cooler than I would enjoy.

I've been a little under the weather myself, today, my sinesus are all messed up, and I am having a bad time trying to breath. Other than that I have enjoyed my day.

Mostly at home, just relaxing today. Of course always the weekend chores... giggles.....

Yaaaaayyyy I got them all done... laughss... it is good to get things done around the house on the weekend, lol... I would never get them done during the week.

Yesss.. May 2 or May 9 sounds great for me, for the Lit together. Thanks to Roman for setting things in motion for this.

Man, thanks for trying to get this going and finalized. Thanks to all of you who have been active with this. I honestly suck at stuff like this and so I can't suggest or organize any kind of getting together haha. But I promise my presence (as long as I have a fair warning!).

Yeah, the inner harbor is cool, I actually know where that is Haha. Being from the DC side of Maryland I was worried I wouldn't know where the Baltimore area meeting place might be but the Inner Harbor is a nice easy place. I do feel bad though for our Virgina friends having to travel that distance but there are more people on that side of Maryland so this is fair. Looking forward to it!
 
either date in may is ok with me - i'm not sure if anyone necessariy wants to go to the inner harbor but i was wondering if somewhere near arundel mills might be more convenient than travelling to downtown baltimore for some folks

it makes no difference to me - i do the baltimore drive everyday for work so i'm familiar with it - but for those that aren't familiar with it, arundel mills is kind of central between baltimore and dc - easily accessible from I-97, I-95 or 295 - there is a new TGIFridays that just recently opened there

just a thought ~

Yeahhh, Arundel Mills area would be ok. But parking by that mall can be the MOST aggravating thing I know.

hey WG - you're correct about the parking situation -
it is a nightmare

fortunately TGIF is not located inside the mall -
it is across arundel mills boulevard opposite the mall -
so we wouldn't have to deal with the parking situation
at the mall

I was actually hoping to meet someplace like Arundel Mills, but didn't want to inconvenience our more northern Litizens--but since I believe that BethAnne is among those furthest north, I say let's go for it. So here are the tentative details:

May 2 or May 9
A restaurant in or near Arundel Mills Mall, Hanover, MD
For info & directions: Arundel Mills Web site

Anyone feel free to state a preference for the following:

Restaurant: TGIF's across from the Mall is on the table, but the mall itself has a Chevy's (one of my favorites) and a Jillian's (kind of like Dave & Busters--games and food and drink). I'll see if I can dig up some other options from my many travel resources.

Time: Given that no one here probably works at the mall, I assume it will take anyone at least 30 minutes to get there--so maybe 6:30PM? or 7?

Let's see if we can actually pull this off!

On another note, did you see the weather this morning? Appears its to do this damn cold rainy stuff all week, right thru the weekend...Makes me want to crawl back in bed & cover my head...but at least when its raining...my allergies don't seem to bother me as bad...

Hey FeistyRed--believe me, if I could make excuses and get back in bed (and actually get some peace and quiet there!) I would today...I'm supposed to go to DC for a conference on Thursday, and hoped to get out and walk around--but not much incentive to do so with this cold weather!

Busy busy weekend, and now a busy week! Hope all is well with you too!

Happy Monday Maryland!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am all for the May 9th date for our Lit together. 7:pm is a good time for me also. I would get off from work and head over from the office. I know I could make it there by 7.

All of the suggestions for a resturant sound good. I would think we would need to get a reservation of some kind to let them know we would have a larger party for that night. I am sure lots of these places really get busy on a Friday night.

Smiles.... I hope everyone has had a wonderful Monday, even through all this strange weather.

I have 2 friends planning bachelorette parties. I am equally possibly available on the 2nd or the 9th. It's like a Schroedinger's cat thing... I really don't know yet. So, I won't vote - pick the best for the most people, leaving me out of the count.
