*blushes and allows TF to search for the cherry through all the whipped cream and chocolate syrup*

Mmmm, this sundae stuff was a good idea *closing my eyes, trying not to moan too loudly*

*sifts through the whipped cream, chocolate sauce, ice cream....wraps my lips around the cherry, catches it between my teeth, tugging at it, pulling...finally realising that it's attached*

Whoops....guess that's not the cherry....

*keeps searchin'*

Hehe you have to look *grins* harder.......

August 22

Hi all, Sorry to interupt all the fun food play. I've been away for over a week and just caught up with the latest plans. I would love to attend on the 22nd and have a friend that is interested as well. It's too early to tell for sure right now, but it's definitely a possibility right now.

Please carry on....

Perhaps something with less copious amounts of alcohol. *coughs* :D speaking of... would it be okay if I asked my friend Chris if he'd like to give it another try? Last time, he couldn't stop telling me how much fun he had... Just let me know.

And as for something to do, hmm... Would a BBQ at a public park be good?

As far as I'm concerned, Chris is more than welcome to join us again.

I think a BBQ would work just fine. If we started at the usual 6:30, we'd have a few hours before it got dark, so that works. And if we wanted to save money, we could have everyone bring what they wanted to grill instead of one of us buying a lot of meat and having leftovers. We'd probably have to think of something to do afterward, though. What do the rest of you guys think??

That sounds cool. And we could always go somewhere drinks, coffee and appetizers or something...

I was thinking that too.....coffee especially, I'm a coffee junkie :p

Well, if you find a park with a pool (or fountain) then Levelhead will have a place to drop his swim trunks again.....

Just thought I'd peak some interest in the "lurkers."

Have fun. It's really hot and humid here today so thought of you all hot people.

See the "you all" is even back in my lingo.......

A public park sounds okay, but I'm not familiar with the cities many parks, so deciding on one might be a challenge. Then too you need to hope for good weather.

Has anyone offered up a recommendation or a location, like say a home or backyard?

I'll keep peeking in.

Mmmm ... 'Bou! :p

You got 'bou? I'm jealous!

I am also thinking that a home might be nice, since we'd have indoor and outdoor places to go.........but I can't offer my place, so we'd need volunteers :p

OK, OK, so we need to get on top (*giggles*) of things.....less than a week until the getogether and we don't have a place to be yet.

So I need to know ASAP if anyone can volunteer their place. Otherwise, we need ideas. Does a park work, or is there too much worry about bad weather, bugs, etc? Other things we should do? I need some ideas, guys, 'cause we need to know where we're going soon :)

we have a reason, we need a place...

Wish I could offer up my place, but there would be multiple complications I can't begin to go into. As hot as it is today, I am thinking any outdoor activity other than swimming might be a little tough to take. Hard pressed, I'd say the Thunderbird served us well last time (maybe I can get my swimsuit back), maybe we go there again.

You can bring your laptop Keri and teach some songs.

I liked the outside pool at T-Bird... it was a perfect night. Maybe something similar?

I really, really, really, really enjoyed that. :) But I'm biased. *grins* Unfortunately, this will be my last MN Get-Together as well, as I've finally decided to move east again.

How many people do we have now? Enough to afford the hotel room without money complications?? If we do, we could definitely do the hotel and pool thing again. And seeing as it worked smoothly last time, it would be easier to plan this time and wouldn't turn out bad b/c I'm very preoccupied :p

With this new information I think it is imperative we invite many to attend... as it may be many months before we host another getogether. Especially since the three of us have made up the female hostesses... I am not hostessing solo!

And we can wish you both sweet success in your new adventures... :)

I'm touched. Thank you. :)
