With this new information I think it is imperative we invite many to attend... as it may be many months before we host another getogether. Especially since the three of us have made up the female hostesses... I am not hostessing solo!

Awwww! ty Sal......many hugs to you. I'm going to miss you all when I'm back in school. Of course I'm excited to go back, but I'll miss a lot of things about home, especially you guys!!

Same with me. Do we have anyone who CAN reserve the hotel? I would do it, but I'd totally be killed by my parents. We need someone who has a credit card that is just theirs - I promise, you won't get burned on the cost, we will all pitch in to make it even.

Yes, we can have the shindig at my house- I just need a bit of warning, bucause I REALLY don't like house cleaning, and my house shows it, to the point that I would be very embarassed to have anyone over right now. Yeah, like Sal said, we were planning on doing this Friday, starting some time in the early evening. It really can't get any later, since I'm leaving this weekend for Boston. I am also volunteering to help clean or set up if you'd like, just let me know.

OK, guys, here we go.

Carp has generously offered to let us hold our little shindig at his house. I've been told to ask people to bring a few chairs, if they have some, so we have enough for everyone who is coming. If we could have a few people bring 2 or 3 chairs, I think that would be much easier than everyone bringing one chair.

Also, we definitely have the opportunity to grill, if we'd like. I was thinking it would be best if everyone brings something they'd like to grill - that way everyone gets exactly what they want. I'll also get a few extras, in case we need them

So so far, I need a few volunteers for chairs, and perhaps a few people who could bring drinks and/or silverware, plates, etc. Let me know if you can help out

I'll have some beverage- prolly lemonade, and I have some booze, but no beer. I do have some lawn charis, but not enough for everyone. And, I'll pick up a dozen ears of corn or so.

Anyone who wants/needs to can spend the night at my house- I'm happy to share the one bed with any or all of the ladies, or there is the couch and floor.

Remember that I am a bachelor, so, while I have most things, I will probably not have some things that I should. Just ask, and I can let you know. PMs work best.

Am I missing anyone?? Do you guys realize that if everyone shows up there will be 16 PEOPLE at the getogether? It's unheard of - I'm excited!!

Everyone on the list will get a PM tomorrow afternoon with the address for Carp's and a phone # or two to call if they get lost. So if you're planning on coming but aren't on the list, it's imperative that you add yourself today!

OK, we have a few volunteers for chairs and blankets, some various food that's coming along, and I assume everyone (or nearly everyone) will bring their own meat (hmmm....). If anyone has something they think we'll all enjoy (a game or activity or something), feel free to bring that along too.

YAY!!! Hope to see you all Friday at 6:30 (which I hope is an ok time for everyone, since we didn't discuss it)!
