Am back in town, but in limbo and unsure if I am heading home or will find a different assignment....
Chances are, with the new manager (whom I do not like) I might probably be heading home as he is unlikely to move his ass to generate revenue from idle assets... (am going to seek a transfer to Romania where we have a better guy in place... but likely to be stuck in Germany for a few months while this project lasts)
will be back soon.. am going to roam about town while it is warmer in the day.. getting chilly at night now and winter is not too far down the road...

Yeah I know what you mean about rought times...my son died in May and I have had some eye problems...but still doing my best to keep the guys happy
But mostly it's still just Charles....the love of my life....

I have glacoma in the one eye but the other is very good

Oh she is definately a little whirlwind!! She loves the birds....yep yu have to enjoy them while they are still sweet and innocent

Yes he passed away in May quite suddenly althou he had health problems it was still a shock...he was my best buddy and called me every day to let me know he loved me..I do miss him so much

How many did you bring into this world? Am sure your children can’t help love you for you do seem an amazing woman.

Yes this is her grandaughter..I had 1 daughter and 3 sons...9 grandchildren and right now 14 great grandkids...some I inherited thru my kids marriages
but all in all a great big wonderful family and I have been truly blessed to have them all in my life but the one I loved the most is the one I lost...

Well you sure make is sound like you and your brood are in constant labour to obey the good Lord’s command to go froth and multiply. I guess, the one you cherished most was also loved by the one who sent him and in the tug of war, human grasp is frail. Eventually we all are untied with the ones who went before and those who come after..
You are truly blessed to be able to enjoy the love of your family. Those like me can only imagine what is must be like to be cherished, though we do get vague glimpses from time to time.

Sometimes it's hard to let go...but I know now he's not in pain or hurting and hopefully someday I will see him again...and tell him how much I missed him

Well I don't stay up that late but one book was 800 pages took me 3 days to do that one...

well, well.. i must say I could write the Puss in Boots version of Cooks In Books with all the reading that's going on here... anyone read any cookbooks lately?

was supposed to fly to Hungary today, but was out of money and missed the flight.. lol.. there is no connection tomorrow and so am likely to go the day after.
the bloody banks had blocked ATM use of credit cards for a few days due to some security issue and being the weekend, I need them to open to get cash from the cashier.. and the flight was for 10 am.. no way I was going to make it and so it had to be changed...
I'll miss a couple of days of pay, but can't help it..

Will just have to watch CNN, presidential campaigns and blood on Wall street..\
In between, might scribble a few poems as I do more writing than reading and am off fiction for a while, being mainly on the comp most of the time, I heck out articles and information online while remembering to work in between..
However, for the past couple of days, since I am not being paid (except my basic salary) I am not doing much work either.. in fact none, except checking for mail from the office..
Hope you ladies remember to keep the kettle on the boil while looking up from between the covers.. be they bed covers or book covers... lol

Well speaking of cookbooks...that's one of my favortite reads....looking at the yummy recipes but not gaining any weight that way LOL
I read a little of everything.....passes the time of day
Y/d I watched football.....I enjoy that too....got a couple of favorite teams
Monday and I go back to doing volunteer...play piano this morn.....it's a nice cool 42 this morn but going to be a nice warm week....
8 years ago today I moved into this apartment and 8 in Nov been divorced how the time does fly

Hope you get your money soon and get moving I have the feeling you dont like to just sit around either

Nope, I do not let the grass grown under my a$$... so to speak.. even though it is getting bigger and no one would be surprised if I soon feel like the genial trunk of a tree overshadowing the buses – (pun unintended)..
but of course, if momma’s kitchen was for real in the neighbourhood, I might consider parking my butt there for more than a few cuppa’s…
going tmrw morning with the taxi picking me up at an unearthly hour of 4.30 am which means I gottta get my butt outta bed by 3 or 3.30.. wonder if I should even bother to go to bed.. take care ladies.. the bug loves ya’all…
BTW.. why are you counting time… you are ageless and time should feel cheated at how it can’t change you no matter how fast and furious it flies…
