Sure, plenty of people like one thing and not another. Maybe furries are too human for them, or maybe monsters aren't human enough for them.

I support people doing MP but that's not my thing. I was going to say I've never written any of it. But if you squint at it just right, the end of The Cliff, my sci-fi novel that just recently posted, has some MP in it. Definitely tentacle monsters. And romance. Just not between the two species. Mostly.

Nah, it's all right, it's definitely niche for a reason. I wouldn't expect everyone to try to write monster/anthro/NH. There's a reason human x human stories can easily rake in 20k+ and NH is usually <5k unless you're one or two or three big-timers: People like fucking people. It's crazy, I know.

If the robot is monstrous, that could count. You pull up something like Horizon: Zero Dawn (robo-dinosaurs!, excellent, but hard-to-find porn), and that would count. But humanoid robots is just robo-sex.

Fuck, now I kinda wanna do a Horizon: Zero Dawn story. Damn these plot archeopteryxes!

In the 1980s, Roger Corman produced a movie titled Humanoids from the Deep, about creatures whose DNA had been altered by growth hormones fed to salmon in ocean-based farming. Some marine life evolved by eating the escaped fish, or the salmon themselves evolved and made a jump. The offspring of those creatures were now human and capable of breeding with humans. Apparently, all of them were male. They'd come out of the surface and kill men and rape the women. Though a few killed the women and raped the men, and a few of them wanted to be women who'd be raped by the men. Anywho, it's a storyline I've often thought about exploring on alterego pen.
