I still like my idea, but what do I know. I doubt that it would be much different from ours, since people fuck around on their mates with or without permission. There would just be fewer lawyers and less red tape, which is not bad.

Your society is a completely alien one, as opposed to nearly identical with a single, albeit pervasive, difference.

My idea requires the people from our world to be forced to interact with this other culture regularly. Your idea would require significant effort to interact with the other culture.

I really don't see what you don't get.

There are 3 kinds of creatures here (an Earthling is counted as a creature), humans, humanoids (genetically enhanced cybernetic humans), and beasts.
The society is purely sexual, which is what you are suggesting (intercourse, called mind merge, is for family bond or used as romance).
Both dimensions have humans on the planet, only this one has humans living as equals to beasts (cyborgs consider themselves superior).

I think your idea goes well with this one (admittedly taken from other Literotica members).

As for forced, I don't see how that's a problem if everything is sexual.
The only thing forced is the order to keep it a secret.

This is where the subplot of forbidden love can come in, also the twist of a possible unwanted birth (parents don't want their daughter's child raised with a sexual implant, even if it's not active for 18 years).
