Glad to hear everything is going will at the KF household particularly after a rather nasty surgery. Had some hip work done on myself several years ago and the recovery is always the least enjoyable part. So while you're healing up you have my wishes that it's speedy.

WOW! So many of you wishing me a speedy and comfortable recovery and sincerely concerned for my well being. It's so very touching. As Mr. KF informed you all days ago, surgery went as well as it could possibly have gone. I spent one night in the hospital hooked up to a morphine pump that I was particularly fond of. I didn't have any trouble with vomiting coming out of the anesthesia (like I typically do) and the surgeon and hospital staff were incredible.

KF is an INCREDIBLE man! He's been nothing less than wonderful. He's taken superb care of me. A woman couldn't ask for a better husband. He's been caring for me, tending to the house and occupying KF Jr., all while trying to fight off a cold of his own. I DO love that man!

AS far as my recovery goes, today is my first day without KF. I was very sad when he left for work this morning. While I am in significantly less pain than I'd expected to be, I do still take painkillers like clockwork. I think you'd be surprised to know that of all the stuff that was done to me...my back, sides and hips hurt the most. My breasts don't hurt even a little bit and while my stomach muscles are really tight and uncomfortable, the incision doesn't hurt at all. My girlfriends will be spending the nest couple of days with me as l am not yet able to tend to KF Jr. He requires a lot of movement that I am just not up for yet. Speaking of KF Jr., he's been really great with me. We prepared him well in advance of my going into the hospital so he was aware of what was happening and that he'd have to be very careful with me when I came home. He's been very gentle with me and regualrly asks if I'm feeling ok. What a cutie.

That's all for now. I'm pretty exhuasted, actually, from just sitting here typing for 10 minutes. Thanks again, so much for all of your thoughts, prayers, e-roses, etc. They really do mean so much to me.

So pleased your recovering well, MKF, and I hope you're back to full health soon! Sounds like your surgery was quite extensive then again, I suppose there was a lot of 'trimming up' to be done after the reduction. Hope your discomfort is as painless as possible.
