Mrs. Kiss Freak, Take Two

It was so good to hear from you, Traci. Hope your recovery continues to go well and that you are feeling much better soon. :rose: :rose: :rose:

So nice to hear from you!

Yes, getting to take narcotics legally is the consolation prize for undergoing surgery.

I'm glad to see you're being so well taken care of, although I would have expected no less. I've always had the impression that you and Mr. KF were a strong couple.

I hope the pain subsides quickly, and that you can soon catch up with the little one. Take care, and, once again, all my best wishes.

WOW! So many of you wishing me a speedy and comfortable recovery and sincerely concerned for my well being. It's so very touching. As Mr. KF informed you all days ago, surgery went as well as it could possibly have gone. I spent one night in the hospital hooked up to a morphine pump that I was particularly fond of. I didn't have any trouble with vomiting coming out of the anesthesia (like I typically do) and the surgeon and hospital staff were incredible.

KF is an INCREDIBLE man! He's been nothing less than wonderful. He's taken superb care of me. A woman couldn't ask for a better husband. He's been caring for me, tending to the house and occupying KF Jr., all while trying to fight off a cold of his own. I DO love that man!

AS far as my recovery goes, today is my first day without KF. I was very sad when he left for work this morning. While I am in significantly less pain than I'd expected to be, I do still take painkillers like clockwork. I think you'd be surprised to know that of all the stuff that was done to me...my back, sides and hips hurt the most. My breasts don't hurt even a little bit and while my stomach muscles are really tight and uncomfortable, the incision doesn't hurt at all. My girlfriends will be spending the nest couple of days with me as l am not yet able to tend to KF Jr. He requires a lot of movement that I am just not up for yet. Speaking of KF Jr., he's been really great with me. We prepared him well in advance of my going into the hospital so he was aware of what was happening and that he'd have to be very careful with me when I came home. He's been very gentle with me and regualrly asks if I'm feeling ok. What a cutie.

That's all for now. I'm pretty exhuasted, actually, from just sitting here typing for 10 minutes. Thanks again, so much for all of your thoughts, prayers, e-roses, etc. They really do mean so much to me.

Tracie,
I will try but this old body has been thru alot... I'm BORG... lines coming out of my chest... stomach... and two pumps all running to keep me alive. But I plan on being around until I'm a 100 and you & KF are posting when you are in your 70's foryou will never not be sexy.... not with your smile and eyes... you will be breaking hearts when you are a 100 and the little boys hope for just one chance with you to hold you... get a kiss... and if they real lucky to make love to you. But as long as Mr KF is willing to share ...maybe :nana: :p :D

Thanks for checking in on me. I really do appreciate it. I am doing quite well, actually. I'm 2 weeks and 2 days post-surgery and am feeling better everyday. In fact, I am feeling so well that I am even going to venture out to Fed-Ex Field today to cheer on those Skins! Thanksgiving was great, as well. My parents came down from Philly and my brother-in-law and his wife and my nephews came over for Turkey dinner. It was a very nice time. KF and KF Jr. are still taking wonderful care of me and the recovery is coming along very very well. Thanks so much for asking!

Hope the rest of you Literotican's had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed your friends and family.

It's soo good to hear from you Tracie and know that things are well in the KissFreak household and very well on the mend with you. As much as we miss you, we all simply want the best for you so that selfishly we can see more of you (or will that be less of you) in the near future! I regret that we weren't able to meet for that drink back in September, but that opportunity may come again.

In the meantime, root for your team and get ready for Christmas. Can't wait to see you in your Redskins jersey again. Many many :rose: 's to you hon.

good to hear

Well MrsKF looks like you got to see a great game. I have yet to be able to make my way to a live NFL game, mostly cause I live in Canada
