Trump has shown a viable path tho - a working and middle-class-based nationalist-populist movement. The recipe's there along with all the essential elements. Trump screwed it up but he showed how to do it. Whatever else Trump has done, he's killed the GOP as it was.

My take is DeSantis will probably be the one to pick up the torch. Vance and Rubio are toxic by association with Trump. DeSantis is the likely path out.....but he'd be crazy to run in 2028. Let Vance take the hit and come back in 2032
