I am really angry. Some weeks ago I posted a series of stories. Six where published, three refused. Cause: Moderator said I used AI. I never did.
I was so angry that I deleted my profile.
However these days I gave it another try. I made a new profile and wrote stories with a completely different content then before
Two days ago a very short story was published.
Today the following two parts were rejected.
I never used AI.
I see new stories published on daily bases. Why are mine rejected?
I write in German.
Thanks for any help.

I reposted one of the stories straight after posting here in the forum. I added a statement that I don't use AI. In about 5 minutes the moderator published my story.

I wonder if there is some aspect of German grammar that English LLMs happen to use more than human speakers of English. It seems that most/all LLMs are trained mainly on English.

I guess it could be an explanation. LLMs are trained in English primarely.
German grammar is quite difficult. Maybe therefore correct but complicated sentences are marked as AI - even if they are genuinely human written.

Thx for the link. As the AI detecting system doesn't work it would be better not to use it and to encourage german readers to report AI written stories. A native speaker is in most cases able to recognize AI.

I want to share another observation regarding this issue. If I switch from English to German, most informations on my profile are poorly translated. Some are grammatically wrong in a an extent that makes me smile.

I am surprised they do not let us upload our own non-English profiles. It wouldn't help me (I am fluent in no other language) but would definitely help you (and users of Literotica French and Spanish).

Maybe you can suggest a better automated translator to them for the profiles?

Right now, several prominent and well-established authors are being struck by Literotica’s detection system, such as @swriter, @Ihr_joe , and @Doc_M1. They have been publishing for years, have led many German top lists, and were already well established long before the current LLM craze.

Unfortunately, Literotica does not seem to care much about its smaller communities. There have been several attempts to address the situation or raise awareness, but so far to no avail.

Thanks a lot for all the informations. As I understood a lot of German authors get rejections. Knowing that the moderators could easyly understand that it is not likely that all of that autors are using AI.

I think it's a mostly automated process. Also, this has been going on for months, I don't think it will change anytime soon.

Right now I am really angry. As I wrote my workes were accused to be AI written.
Today I was troubled by a new issue. An anonymous person wrote in 3 minutes three reviews regarding my works. The reviews were: "Sorry, thats rubbish", "Sorry, thats shit" and "Your stories are as primitive as your nickname".
Who moderates the reviews? These are pure brainless insults by an internet troll.
I am not angry about this person who obviously wanted to troll around. I am angry about the moderation.
Why does it take up to a day until serious reviews are publiced? And on the other hand such stuff as above mentioned is published , even if it's against literatotica's own rules to insult authors

You moderate comments. The site's review is to detect and remove spam. It's up to you to remove inappropriate comments.

Just like the automatic scripts that spew false AI negatives and redirect some work to pending purgatory, the automated comment moderation script let most everything through. IMO, nothing is seen by human eyes.

#BlameItOnTheScripts

I think anonymous comments are always moderated - they don't appear immediately, they take a day or two before they appear.

Everyone gets bad and stupid comments. No-one likes it. But really, what would the moderation be? They can't refuse to publish all negative comments. Perhaps threats to murder you, they might stop those. But at the level of 'I don't like this', they have to let it through as genuine (even if stupid) commentary.

No-one. The site scans for spam and html links, but that's it. There used to be evidence of a regular hate speak scan with comments disappearing, but I've not heard any comments about that for a while.

Other than that, you can delete comments yourself. Or other readers can report comments.

The site relies on self-policing for some things - an unacceptable comment for some people, others might just shrug their shoulders, delete the comment and move on.

There is no content moderation for comments.

After a while, comments publish immediately. We speculate there is an approved list of okay commentators.

There's no evidence of content moderation - see my previous post.

The spam/html detect process appears to be done in batches, hence a delay.

Exactly. The site gives authors that determination, by allowing them to delete comments using whatever criteria they choose.

Thanks for the explanations.
Thinking it over I didn't remove the comments. Instead I posted a comment, stating that I would appreciate substantial critics more than short postings of disgust.

That's a good choice. A writer I admire a lot has left really stupid comments on one of her stories, so I have decided that I also will. Other people will see them and (perhaps) disagree. Letting them stay and look stupid, or arguing against them, might both be better choices than deleting things you don't like. But it depends on the comment.

One thing I learned really early on, it's pointless to try to engage with nay-sayers. Firstly, because they're unlikely to see your comment; secondly, because you're probably pissing into their self-righteous wind.
