With a heart full of wonder, and a soul full of joy, I watch these Northern Lights paint their picture in the sky.

Ever changing, thousands of canvases capturing an instant in time only to be replaced by a picture as beautiful as the last.

To accompany this miracle of creation, the stars are also falling tonight.
A multi-hued background lit up by the vibrancy of its colours, with homage being paid to their elegance, by the death of each one that races across this majestic sky.

My eyes are heavy in the wee hours of this morning, and yet my spirit feels as though it is light enough to ascend amongst this beautiful display above me.
