Natashaluvboris and shoes

I'm grateful for drag queens. The top picture of the Zombie shoes comes from Ru Paul's Iron Fist shoe collection. Which is probably the only place I can go and feel comfortable with the shoe collection size.

I am size 11, and have often said that shoes in my gargantuan size are made for nurses or drag queens. There are few options in between. I prefer the latter. And at 5'10", this regularly makes me 6'1" to 6'2". I own three pairs of black heels; I can't seem to find black pairs that I love. The majority of my shoes are nude, blue/turquoise, or red. The first two colors match my extensive orange dress collection. The red ones go with my business suits.

I get teased, but I hand it back. My son is 15, 6' 1" and has size 15 feet and when we go shopping if Ulaven picks on our boat shoes I make fun of his ridiculously tiny feet. Even though he and I can wear each other's shoes.

But yeah, although I can walk in heels and I like them, most often I will opt for flats or low heels because I'm just bloody tall to begin with for a girl.

That's partly why I love Ru Paul's Drag U show. Drag queens showing that if you want to be damned well fabulous, don't complain, go and make it or find it. Those gentlemen revived my hope in finding shoes in my size, and not just after going to 4 stores and finding one box at the end aisle that look like they should be used in the ICU.

Drag queens are so cool. I love Ru Paul! Super uber fan! I had this picture of Ru Paul in my office and people always acted like it was wierd and questioned me about it. I was like if that bitch can wake up and make herself look like that - then what is my excuse for not looking super fucking fabulous and I'm already a girl! Can I get a A-men! Work! Sashay shante!

I met her it was a gleeming moment in my life. She's so gorgeous, eleganza extravaganza in person and tall holy shit!

"If you don't love yourself, how the hell you gonna love somebody else!"

I'm on the short end of tall for a woman, so it's easier for me. Plus Mr Mischka is 6'3", so even with my 4 inchers, he's still taller than me. We also seem to have very tall friends, so I like being eye level with them (or at least closer). And, to be honest, I like being able to look down on opposing counsel.

I love her. When my daughter and niece were small, they went to a gay pride parade in NYC with their grandparents.

I have a picture somewhere of her holding the hands of two little girls, my daughter on one side and my niece on the other. That is one tall bitch.

The little girls adored the "Drag Princesses"

Absolutely excellent reasoning, I approve.

I work at home. I am currently wearing lambswool slippers with heavy rubber soles so I can go do things like get the mail in the rain and not soak through.

They are brown. Men's size.

I would love a pair of fabulous patterned or pink ones, but no dice.

And I know Ru Paul does not DO comfort.

I have two pairs of home-only-comfort shoes like that. The winter pair is quilted tan suede ballet slipper style, with lambswool interior and a rubber sole. The warm weather pair is navy blue rubber ballet style, made by Crocs. Comfy as hell. Plus, I can wash the cars and garden in them and simply hose off my feet.

I have not, nor will I ever, own a pair of flip flops. I do not want my feet to ever replicate that sound, and having the thong between my toes skwidges me out.

I believe I am part vampire. Medical conditions such as low blood pressure kept me cold for the majority of my life. I am almost always cold. I am I a room that is 73 degrees and I am wearing organic cotton thick socks, lambswool slippers, long black organic cotton pants, a dark burgundy organic cotton long-sleeved shirt and a pashmina (black) over that. If it slips below 70 in here I will put on a jacket because my extremities will start to go numb from the cold.

They say it's migraines that make me afraid of the sun and low blood pressure that make me cold, but I'm really sticking with the vampire story.

I used to go barefoot all the time when I could legally. Walks at midnight over sharp rocks? Barefoot. Walks on the gravel roads in the Poconos? Barefoot. Back stage with broken glass and nail hazards? Barefoot.

But moving to Florida changed that. Fuck fire ants.

I sooo agree about flip flops. I was flip flop impaired for years and could not tolerate the thong in between my toes! But I found a fabulous silver, beaded pair that are actually comfortable ab
Nd super cute at the beach. Sparkle yeah!

I am really sad that people wear them everywhere now. Its so not chic! And its not just the flopping sound but lazy fuckers drag their feet in them too. Aggghhh I want to beat them over the head with a pool noodle and scream "pick up your feet Bitch!"

Oh wow.......calm down.......breathe. Ok back to fab u lous!

Fashion is passionate. I'm sure all of us in here would cut a bitch. If not literally, certainly verbally.

One of my only few criticisms of Ulaven ever has been...socks...with sandals? Really?

Vampirism seems like a legit medical diagnosis. *nods*

I'm in Texas, where it's hot as fuck and we have fire ants. I walk barefoot more than I should. After a swim meet once, I jumped off our school bus onto a glass beer bottle (thanks, litterer). I was too tired to deal with all of the blood, so I just poured rubbing alcohol and iodine on the wound and then duct taped a plastic grocery bag around my foot and fell asleep. That was not my brightest moment.

And I once sat down, again barefoot, on a red ant hill. It was at Shakespeare in the Park at night, and I was wearing a cute summer dress. By the time I felt the first sting, I had been bitten 40 times. My shin swelled to the size of my calf.

TL;DR: I'm a klutz.

I do also drink the blood of the innocent. Technically. Even if that means a nice jus of a rare lamb.

The first time I dug my arms up to the elbows to repot a plant in the back yard in Florida, it wasn't until I was bitten at once about a gazillion times that I realized they were there.

I became progressively more allergic and sensitized and each time I got even one bite, it would have a wide red mark around it and getting wider progressively.

Eventually when I went out weeding, I'd wear crocs, a painting poncho like the kind you wear in second grade art class to protect nice clothes and gloves up to my elbows.

Ok yeah thats bad but there is one thing I can't stand to see. Mens feet are nasty! They have hairy toes, scaly heels and no pedicure. Thick toenails. Ugh gag!

Ew girls you know what I mean. A man with nice feet is rare. And all the crossers and drag queens don't count because you bitches take care of your feet. I'm talking about those hobbit fuckers! And the worse the feet - they're the ones wearing sandals! And they always have pale skin too because the brothers don't go for that shit either.

So honey let that man keep his geeky socks ON! At least his feet are warm!

He still does it!

Fortunately we razz each other all the time but since neither of us really listen unless it's made clear it's important enough to spend your "get out of crazy free" card on it, we let it go.

Fun! I could see building a Halloween costume around those.

I take Mr Mischka to get a pedicure at the beginning of open toe season for that reason. He wears flip flops (ugh, but at least they are leather and don't make that awful flopping sound ... as much), and I didn't want him exposing his gnarly pale man toes to the world. First time I took him was after a soccer injury; cleats smashed down on his big toe, splitting the nail in half. I caught him using super glue to keep it together. A trip to the pedicurist later, his nail was on the path to heeling and he agreed sitting in a massage chair for an hour and getting pampered was not bad.

A good pedicure is like good oral. Love it, got to have it, can't, won't live without it! My boyfriend is sweet. He rubs my feet and he brushes my hair and hes no bitch, hes just really sweet! Oh yeah good no awesome at oral! Now if only he could master nail polish!

Now here's a thread I can sink my teeth....ooops I mean toes in. I love, love me shoes. I'm going to be an exception here though. I be one of dem biotches that loves me sum flip flops.....BUT, let me say this girl does NOT drag her feet. That being said, I love all shoes, heels, wedges, tennis shoes, flats, sandals....Can I go on?

I'm 5'7", size 9. Problem for me is, although my tootsies, in my humble opinion, are quite cute, I have wide feet. They don't make cute heels for gals like me. Plus, hubby is only 5'8" and I tower over him if I go 3-4"......*sigh*

Now here's some shoes, that really aren't shoes at all. I mean really, who designs this crap?

Does he have a twin? We need to start a thread about brushing hair! I would die to have a man brush my hair. I'd give bjs for hours to show my appreciation. :)

Those are wierd. Wear the flops but with a nice pedicure right? I have average feet but I only like open toe because (whispers) I have sweaty feet. Ssssshh! Don't tell. So I only wear open toe and I love slingbacks so much! Also I only wear a heel with a platform. Those 1980 pointy toe high heel flat bottom shoes HURT LIKE A MUTHERFUCKERRRRR! I found that platforms don't hurt and you can go super high heel and still walk.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

BTW not a pony player but have you seen the hoof shoes? I'd like to see how they are to walk in for shits and giggles.
