Like I said I want them to be visibly different, they are aware of each other but most people (obviously Nite would figure it out) would think they are separate individuals as they obviously cant' ever be seen together.

I think in his "Normal" form he should be able to communicate with all of them, sort so sometims he'll be arguing with himself, or hearing conflicting voices. Legion of course being a religious reference point.

As I'm looking back at Deciple I'm thinking that it would really detract from Deciple if Damian gained shape shifting unless something else was done to keep them separate. Which doesn't mean it can't be done, the Ridler and the Joker started off very similar (and sometimes wander back that direction when Joel Schmauker is allowed to direct) and they have sense drifted to be very distinctly diferent charachters. But great effort would be needed to keep them apart.

I think an actual love hate relationship where he is somewhat allied with Sameal viewing them both as "gods" of another era as if I'm reading him properly Deciple isn't aligned with the Christian deiety but rather various older religions. So he'd might view Samael as a fellow believer.

Torquemada on the other hand would see him as a heretic and would be completely opposed to any alliances with him.

The way i was thinking to differentiate is becuase disciple can shape shift into anything/one, while brody could only shapeshift as his personalities change...thus into something like only 3 or 4 variations...

Well two major initially, we can always add on additional personalities. Note: While this is "my" charachter I'm not arguing with you I'm merely dissagreeing. I think that having two religious themed shape shifters who are obviously insane enough to think they are vessels of gods or demons might be a bit much. But then again Riddler and Joker started off pretty much as the same guy just Joker was funnier and they've developed over the decades into two entirely different individuals. So it's not impossible.

A shape shift, even a minor one would be nice though particularly as it would reinforce the these are different people.

Well lets start working something on the street gang level, not so much organized like T's will be, but a place to lump the school kids and random assorted idiots. Realistically we'd have several but we can start with one.

I liked the idea of Disciples blood giving the recipient temporary changing ability.

Also, technically, he could shape change into anyone, but the nature of his belief is that he's opening himself up to become the avatar of mythological gods. If he was ever to have his mind healed, yeah, he could mystique his way around. LOL

Gangs? How cheesy can we be with the gangs? Could there be a nerd brigade? Rides around in a big black van with air brushed space opera scenes on the side... Play D&D, zap people with invisibility ray guns... Oooo. Fun!

Then you would simply have to have the nerds, the jocks, the preps, goths, bloods, everything that made highschool just SO much fun... LOL!

I kind alike the idea of Scythes. Kinda like Hells Angels, weapon of choice are sicle and scythe like weapons (of course in edition to guns) the initiation involves you killing not a rival gang but an innocent.

The Nerds = tazers made to look like phazers.

jocks = duh, bats, or more broadly, any sort of sport equipment.

Preps = don't know... Pull strings in the comunity perhaps?

goths = predominantly use chemical substances to cause any number of effects, sleep-paralysis.

Bloods = gats.

I could see sicles being effective, but scythes are a bit unweildy, unless of course you can get the jump on a victem...

A hierarchy is a must. I don' tthink that limiting the numbers is a good idea cus we need a catchall. Unless you want to make them up as you go along which I suppose is an issue as well.

Machetes are fairly unwieldy to, it's more a ceremonial weapon for them than a real weapon.

I'm not really feeling any of your ideas, to behonest I'm only half feeling mine there's got o be a better one out there.

I'll second that since I'm not finding anything that is both cool, un gimmicky and not racist. Otherwise I'd go with some variant on MS 13 or Crips and Bloods.

Character where it is ambiguous whether he is a good guy or a bad guy:

Name: Jaqsin Orleans (Or if you don't like that name, Cardamom, Card for short)

Physical Appearance: Shoulder-length blond hair, green eyes, two main expressions are a soulful look focused on his eyes, and a crooked grin (optional animal fangs) with smiley eyes (what is the western art equivalent of fox-eyes in manga? ) Broad shoulders, I imagine him being tall (Not quite as muscular from the waist down as the Gateau reference pics) but whatever works with the rest of the cast. Somewhere between 25 and 35.

Personality: Jaqsin (Card) is flirtatious and playful, usually calm and amused by life. He is gay and well adjusted to that, although there may be some trauma in his past about him having been disowned or having a best friend turn into an enemy when he first came out as a teenager. A good job for him would be a teacher of high school or college, but he could also be a bodyguard, or he would make a good right hand man for some sort of leader.

Powers: I didn't read through enough to tell whether you have a shapeshifter yet, but if not then Jaqsin (Card) is a shapeshifter who can take multiple forms (probably all yellowish in color) and uses them to sneak, spy, avoid traps, seem harmless and adorable, track scents, have night vision, etc. He's like the MacGyver of shapeshifting: basically a pacifist (although he would kill someone if it was the only way to prevent that person from hurting him or others) but mostly he is a creative problem solver who uses clever tricks to solve puzzles or mess with people's minds. Some example forms could be a large boa constrictor or anaconda (albino/amelanistic ones often have yellow markings), a golden retriever, a lynx/bobcat or florida panther/mountain lion, a golden eagle, a barn owl or eastern screech owl or great horned owl, and a palomino horse.

Plot: Either Jaqsin (Card) is initially with the good guys (as a consultant or recruit, not a main player) but falls madly in love with a bad guy, or vice-versa. It is then a dilemma whether to reveal his true identity to the person he is crushing on because they might recognize him as an enemy and not give him a chance, and also whether to reveal his attraction to his allies who would probably object and might interfere. Ideally his crush would be an extremely intelligent and somewhat bitchy or angsty small delicately built guy with long hair, but whatever works with your cast and plot. I would prefer this plot to have a happy ending (for example he becomes the sidekick/bodyguard of his beloved). Humor would also be good - he could get stuck in an animal form, people could make bestiality and animal magnetism jokes, he could shift into an animal form and be suddenly assaulted by a problem he did not know was there like a sound or smell undetectable to human senses, he could be pursued by a female real animal in heat, a toddler could try to take him home as a pet, or while pretending to be a rare animal he could get sedated, stolen, and sold to the highest bidder.

Seems a little more like an anime than what I *think* Nite is looking to do.
