Speaking of excited...

Yesterday, I decided to eliminate a member of my list of video games to beat before I die: Dragon Warrior, for NES. Just me, my emulator, no hax, and several Sprites. Finally, 8 hours later, I owned the Dragonlord. Woot!

Now THAT'S excitement.

Next up: Metroid, NES...

You beat ALL of Dragon Warrior in just 8 hours? I spent way more time than that in my younger days and never quite beat the bastard! I'm jealous.

Also, I got the new Weird Al album today. YaY! It is indeed awesome.

i still play my nes as well as the nes to GBA ports. i'm hoping to get one of those SD carts and an NES emulator for my GBA SP so i can play all of the original NES games on that thing. that would absolutely kick ass. in the meantime, i have metroid, castlevania, zelda 1+2, SMB3, mario bros, xevious, and probably a couple of other NES ports for my GBA. it's good stuff-and metroid: zero mission is very much like a hopped up version of the original metroid for the GBA. and castlevania: harmony of dissonance is much the same, but castlevania. super cool-i didn't think i'd ever get back into videogames. too many bloody buttons on newer machines. A+B, directions, select, start, and L+R buttons are ample control for me (for a videogame, that is-the BDSM talk forum is a little more my speed for the rest..)

oh, and howdy folks. another geek for the headcount, here. computers, audio (musical and home stereo equipment, primarily), neuropharmacology, philosophy, theology, and lots of other -ologies and-osophies are things i personally dig.

Arg, I get my router in the mail today, and I can't set the darned thing up. What I thought was a network cord running through the wall in my closet to my mom's computer in the next room turned out to be a *phone* cord. So now I ahve to get a 10-15 foot long network cord and figure out how to get the phone cord out of the wall and replace it with the network cord.

This is gonna be a royal pain in the ass.

Well..if they run to the same lead in line..just tie the network cord to the phone cord and pull the phone cord slowly and gently back from the install point. Instant wire run!

BTW, thanks for your corset advice! I tried it today and didn't do too badly. I had my friend help my out a bit, but I think once I get the hang of it I'll be able to do it all by myself.

Ahhhh, wore my new corset out today...first thing this morning, I'm attempting to walk across the street to my car and at least 3-4 guys slowed down in their cars to gawk (and no, you couldn't see boobies or anything, I had a white dress shirt on underneath. But still, reminded me of the power of the corset.

Yeah, the only real complete I had was I was reading a book at a coffee shop today, and I tend to sit, and look down, except I kinda couldn't cause then I'd be looking down at cleavage.
