*joins the "Welcome back Micro!" and "Welcome New Nerd!" bandwagons. 
So, today I found out that Cosina sells a clip-on light meter designed to match the style of old-school "Classic" cameras. Handy for people with older cameras that don't include lightmeters, or people whose cameras' light meters no longer work. But darn if it isn't too expensive for me.
